Knight Rider---Series Debut posted on Hulu.com---"A Knight in Shining Armor"

In case you can't wait until next Wednesday, Knight Rider's series debut has been posted on Hulu.com early. I believe Lipstick Jungle and several other NBC shows will make their way on there soon.

Watched about 25+ minutes since I have to get some shut eye.

The only complaint I have is there is way way too much CGI and Green Screen used.

Since this is a Gary Scott Thompson production, it doesn't surprise me that there is lots of eye candy. Deanna Russo is smoking hot and I was really surprised to see Paula Garces from The Shield.

I'll finish it up later, but it looks like a really goofy show with some decent action like the 80's version. GST needs to tone down the CGI big time, I can see that getting really annoying if he overdoes it.

Watched it this morning and enjoyed it.

You're right though, they really did indulge in the CGI and green screen.

The premiere episode was pretty bad, as was expected. In a way it was quite a feat. They managed to take a show that was already set up by a 2 hour miniseries, pack in 3 times the exposition of a normal pilot and still have me completely confused about what the hell was going on.

I was watching some of the original episodes over the weekend and while it was chock full of 80's cheese I still admired the stunt driving. Not so much the set pieces (turbo boost through flatbed full of empty oil drums, etc) but just having a couple of real cars racing through suburbs or the hills of San Francisco, power sliding around corners and catching a little air on the bumps. If the new show would use 10% of their CGI budget and 2% of their crappy dialog airtime to shoot some real cars driving on real roads it would make the show much better.

Its also available on the NBC website. I watched it there, and I enjoyed it.

At least Deanna Russo is hot.
