Feasting On Waves 09/10/08 "Sugar On Isle One"
 

I didn't like it as much as Feasting On Asphalt. It seemed a lot slower paced that its predecessor, and the food is a lot harder to get. Alton had an annoying habit of cutting off and interrupting the people he interviewed. Does this show mean that FOA is DOA?

I watched it as well and thought that Alton Brown came across as a condescending jerk for the most part. And what was up with those giant grandpa sunglasses he was wearing?

Yeah, this didn't have the same vibe as either FOA. I still enjoyed it, and thought it looked great in HD. Well, except for the horizontal lines filter they throw over all the camcorder footage. That was starting to make my eyes bleed...

Alton pretty much looked like a dork for most (if not all) the episode.

I miss Good Eats. :(
