+1 for Head of the Class

Also, the live action Spider-man series. And a very short lived cop show I watched as a teen, The Hat Squad. I actually bought a VHS set of this show a while ago, but the quality was horrible (not unlike how I watched it when it was on... damn no cable!). I'd love to see it again and actually be able to see it!

I'd really like to have the pilot episode of Misfits of Science. It's on VHS, but not DVD for the US.

Season 2 of Amazing Stories...It's on Netflix as a W.I.N. so I gotta think they will release it at some point.

That's what I was thinking too. And, as on those other 300 threads, my answer's the same - Ed. Music intact, please.

Off the top of my head...

Batman (you know the one)
The Banana Splits
The Six Million Dollar Man
The Bionic Woman (the original one)
Brimstone
American Dreams (the rest of the series)
The Class

** had to add

Dark Skies (missed that one, glad some of you others reminded me of it)
Shazam (forget the whole name of the show, but now that Secrets Of Isis has been out for a year, I wonder what's still holding this up?)

Ed's at the top of my list too (Ally is 2nd), but, at some point, I'm 40 years old and I don't want to have dentures when they finally come to a deal.

Personally, it took nothing away for me whatever changes were done to Northern Exposure. If they're fighting for songs that really are important to a scene, I guess, so be it. But if it's to get every last tune, so fans don't get angry or have a reason to pass on buying it, I'm no so sure that I'd support that this many years later and with absolutely no reason to believe it's coming any time soon.

Give me the show already is the way I'm leaning. Make some changes...just give me the show.

It seems like the media companies holding the rights to TV shows with music content seem to know the price of everything but the value of nothing and the same goes for the greedy music labels who demand too much, then don't get paid.

Do the media companies think we're idiots?

Ally McBeal has been on VHS in Europe for donkey's years and on DVD too, with not a squeak on this side of the pond. Boston Legal seems to be the only DEK show to get properly released on DVD in America.

I heard Quantum Leap's music content is relatively unmolested in the UK as well. The ridiculous music clearance issues have slowed up a R1 publication of Spaced for too long, despite no hassel in getting it on DVD in it's home country.

The shows I want to see on DVD are China Beach and Dark Skies because I'm intrigued in seeing Marg Helgenberger, Bob Picardo, and Jeri Ryan in their earlier roles. Too bad for the 'given one inch but taking a mile' attitude displayed by the record executives.

Marg is incredible on China Beach. So was Delaney but strangely, a lot of people I know have never heard of this great show.

I guess many people under 30 never heard of the show, which is perhaps why the pinheaded media company owning China Beach doesn't think it is worth the effort to sell it. Same for Dark Skies.

I just think this embarassing dealock over music clearances does little else but deprive the consumers and only makes the music industry appear profoundly greedy and childishly petulant.

Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
Legends of the Hidden Temple

Yes I know, but early 90's nickelodeon really was amazing.

And for those of you who remember Kirk Fogg and Olmec... (NSFW)

OK, I will play...

Since the title is shows I would LIKE to see on DVD, I will go ahead and say Eastenders, the British soap opera. Season sets from the very beginning.

Obviously I know this will never be a reality...perhaps if it wasn't still on the air and such then maybe, just maybe...but man, oh, man I want to see this show again, and the PBS affiliate in Kansas City sucks and blows at the same time so hard. I doubt they EVER aired episodes of Eastenders.

It's about as an unrealistic request as any American made soap in DVD season sets, but shoot...I want to see this show from the beginning again so bad. I miss it something fierce.

Even though I have already obtained both series already in some form, Beverly Hills 90210 and the rest of the Dream On series. Didnt even bother picking up 90210 (even though it's one of my fav shows) because of the music changes and Dream On was only released up to season 2.

The Six Million Dollar Man
Batman (the 1960s tv show.)
The Green Hornet.

I expect to see Batman and the Green Hornet to be released on dvd around the same time Disney's Song of the South dvd is located in the movie section of your favorite store. Which pretty much seems never.

I can't understand why someone would rather do without getting paid than have to share the money with others. Batman, The Green Hornet and Song of the South would rake in mega bucks if only they could see the light of day on dvd.

Un Completed Sets
Everwood (Season is coming out in 2009, about friggin time. They better release the other two seasons with tons of extras to satisfy the fans that have been waiting for the 2nd season. How bad was that with a huge cliffhanger at the end of season 1 and the fans have had to wait how long before they release season 2?

Boy Meets World - Finish the series come on I grew up with this show. The series finale aired the same day I graduated High School.

Thats All I can think of right now.
