Yet, somehow, Liam can own a bar which sells alcohol and actually serve it (even to minors!).

Don't you only have to be 18 to work in a bar? and he had to have Austin sign for the liquor permit because he wasn't 21.

This show has really shifted focus from Annie and Dixon and family to Naomi, Silver, Liam.

I don't know why I still watch it. I doubt I will miss it if it gets cancelled, but still OK.

To be fair, its not like the original series didn't do the same thing with the Walsh's when they hit college as well. It became more about the cast as a whole.

Though admittedly, the shock factor can still come on to how much Naomi is now the center of the show and how Annie and Dixon have been shunted so far to the side.

Re: 90210 -- "Vegas, Maybe?" -- 11/08/11

Awful episode.

Austin is such a stupid and stereotypical character. I love Naomi, but c'mon really with this relationship? They only helped re-inforce it with Billy Ray Cyrus as another over the top stereotype.

This episode looked so cheap production-wise for them being supposedly in Vegas. at the Green Screen of Vegas at night in the girls hotel room. That looked like a cardboard cutout.

 and how old is that LAPD detective supposed to be? She looks like she's in her early 20's. And there is no way they would send her to Vegas to wire up Nevid for some sting operation without any evidence. I guess the assumption is she went there on her own time.

 and go figure Annie catches her new boyfriend fooling around on her.

And they finish it off with a "Pre" gay wedding for Teddy.

I have somewhat enjoyed Adrianna and Dixon's little subplot mainly for how ridiculous and dated it is. Even though Adrianna has pulled off some nasty shit, I still like her.

Re: 90210 -- "Vegas, Maybe?" -- 11/08/11

Love how in the first few seasons they were always drinking these made up non alcoholic cocktails at the athletic club... always funny colors like bright yellow, bright green, dark red - and always in a martini glass ...

but now they have Teddy go up to a bar and straight up order whiskey... and have them all drinking casually like its part of their normal routine.

i guess the writers are no longer worried about promoting underage drinking - like they were in the first few seasons.

Just caught this last night.

I wanted to point out a factual error in this episode. It's already 2012 in the 90210 Universe, but they were talking about Carmageddon happenining. For those who have no clue what that was, one of the major freeways in LA shut down for an entire weekend last July But even then, the whole thing ended up being no big deal. The freeways actually ran smoothly that weekend.

 Glad that it appears Austin is out of the picture. Never liked that character.

Also glad that Adrianna and Silver have sort of made up.

Yeah - she has a great body.

 at Dixon getting broadsided. He's gone for the last third of the season and then that. A crappy character all around, so if this was their way of getting rid of him, good for them.

Same camera angle and everything. It was obvious what would happen...but they won't kill off the token black guy. It just isn't going to happen.

Hopefully this means Max (whoever he is) becomes a series regular next Season. He's one of the few characters that has actually worked the past few Seasons.
