As bad as the acting is, I am enjoying this show much more than last season. Poor Navid - he's got a hot girlfriend (who used to be a slut) that he actually proposed marriage to and she still won't put out plus he has to deal with a douchey ex-boyfriend. :lol:

Do they really have high school surfing teams in CA? Actually, that's more believeable than there being lacrosse teams out there.

Ugh, Tivo had a power failure and didn't come back on last night. Missed this and Melrose. Looks like they're not replaying these this year. Unfortunate since I like this far more then Melrose which actually does get replayed.

Very enjoyable 2nd episode. If Shenae Grimes wasn't such a horrible actress, I would actually feel more sympathy for Annie.

Love that they brought back Naomi's sister Jen. What a fucking evil bitch.

Okay, does anyone here think the Teddy character is a fucking ridiculous stereotype/caricature of every rich pretty boy snob that we have seen in past TV shows and movies? Like I said in the season premiere, they did a horrible job casting that part. The guy looks like he's 30.

So this show is relegated to weekend viewing for me, but I'm on the fence for the rest of the season. I miss Silver (the one from early last season).

Dixon's story fell flat and Annie is unwatchable. Other then then it was a pretty good episode.

They need to get rid of Teddy, I know none of these kids are high school age (sophomores? :lol:) but they can at least pass for it.

I thought it was a fun episode. Nice to see Annie turn on bitch mode. Makes her at least tolerable, and makes the show more fun.

I agree. The show is getting more fun with the cattiness. I've enjoyed these last 2 eps far more than last season.

Dixons storyline is booooooring.
Liam is turning into Ryan Atwood with his constant brooding.
Teddy looks way too old. C'mon, really? Cast someone who looks like they might fit in.

Overall a good ep. I actually liked Annie here.

And WTF was Liam doing with those blueprints? Building a plane? Surfboard? Gun? He seemed really upset when he was slappin' them down.

This was a pretty good episode.

Although I hated hated Dixon's storyline. Teddy (Trent Donovan) looks ridiculous and so out of place as a 16-year old.

Other than that, I loved the scenes with A, Silver, Naomi and even Annie. The friction and cattiness between them was great.

That is ridiculous, the guy is almost twice as old as the age he's supposed to be playing? Plus his voice is pretty low for his character's age range.

Dixon is such a crap character, perhaps it's the writing, but most of it is the actor, Tristan Wilds, who just isn't all that entertaining. Please, Silver, stop pining for that loser!

I think the show got much much better during the second half of the first season - that was when I started to get really invested in the characters.

With that said I HATE the storyline with Annie, Naomi, et el. It is just painful to watch in so many ways. I feel so bad for Annie - and I don't get why no one has figured it out. I mean who would really believe that the virginianal girl would sleep with her best friends guy whom she hates?
