Late Night w/ Conan feat Triumph at comic con 8/2

This has potential to be comedy gold. Just a reminder, prob another 20 minutes or so.

RTisBetter 08-01-08 11:38 PM

Lookin' forward to it, dont even remember what the last Triumph sketch was

RichC2 08-01-08 11:46 PM

Dr. Phil skit back in September, it's been a while.

Rypro 525 08-01-08 11:52 PM

triumph trying to give the bsg guy a weggie rotfl

RichC2 08-01-08 11:53 PM

If you're here, whose at home disappointing your parents?

Rypro 525 08-01-08 11:54 PM

Whats this a picture of? (holds up a pic of a vagina)

RichC2 08-01-08 11:56 PM

The virgin/vagina jokes are a bit played out from the previous skits, but still always entertaining.

Rypro 525 08-01-08 11:58 PM

but when you have so many nerdy people there, they're just asking for it.

Rockmjd23 08-02-08 12:00 AM

Was pretty funny. I liked that asian chick. -other-

RTisBetter 08-02-08 03:13 AM

it was okay.

ruddiger_718 08-02-08 12:06 PM

I really wantted to puch Harry Knowles's Joker in his creepy smile during that segment.

dhmac 08-02-08 12:10 PM

Dang, I missed it! Is this online somewhere?

JohnSlider 08-02-08 12:20 PM

It'll be on Hulu soon if it isn't already.

Charlie Goose 08-02-08 01:37 PM

Missed it too. :(

Triumph visiting the sci-fi fans on line for the Star Wars movie was among the funniest damn things I have ever seen.

TheMadMonk 08-02-08 01:38 PM

I'd have to rate this as sub-par for a Triumph bit.

CKMorpheus 08-02-08 01:40 PM

Any links?

wmansir 08-02-08 03:51 PM

There until youtube yanks it.

agreed. SMeigel seemed to have sucked on a nitrus oxide tank beforehand, he keeps laughing at his own jokes. and it's a silly complaint but the cameraman shouldve tried a bit better to keep him outta the damn frame

CKMorpheus 08-02-08 04:44 PM

The final two minutes were pretty funny... The rest was meh.

Goldberg74 08-02-08 05:32 PM

Scott Kurtz (www.pvponline.com) was the "fat guy" peddling the plushies of his character Skull. Been a Kurtz fan for years and it was fun to see him on the screen, but the jokes fell flat and were really tired by that point.

Giantrobo 08-02-08 06:57 PM

I thought it was pretty good. About the same as any his other bits.

Wow, yeah. Smigel seemed a little loopy during this. And it does lose something if you can see him.

Seantn 08-02-08 07:59 PM

I agree with those saying the bit is old.

We get it, Triumph. They're fat, they're nerds, they're virgins, and they've never seen vaginas. Har-dee-har-har. Come up with new material. It was funny the first 10 times, though.

JeffTheAlpaca 08-03-08 04:40 PM

How did you know this would air in advance?

Were you at Comic-Con?

just kidding

I liked the part where Triumph stared at the guy with the mohawk and the Wolverine guy.

The best Triumph sketches are the ones at the dog shows.

Rypro 525 08-04-08 04:44 AM

had leno on for the hell of it, and was laughing out loud at Bill Cosby's routine, and there was a promo for conan noting the Triumph apperience.

My fave triumph sketches were either the Qubec one (and the fact that it pissed off the qubec government, was great, or the american idol bit, especially when he went on the local news cast.
