DTV converter Box
what brand of box should I get for the digital transition?
|
You'll get better responses in the hardware area. The TV area is specifically about shows.

There is no change needed. Have you not tuned to the DirecTV info stations? You already ARE receiving a digital signal. Digital transition only applies to over the air broadcasting not cable or satellite.

At any rate, I just got a couple, one for me one for my parents, we both have 1 TV w/o DirecTV. The consensus at the AVS forums was the new Zenith 901 or something like that. They seem to work just fine. Circuit City has them, or I think Best Buy's Insignia brand is the same thing. |
Cool, thanks.

I have the Digital Stream brand. No problem with it.

I need to clear something up....
I have a Samsung HDTV(w/internal tuner), NO cable/Satt, I use a regular "rabbit ears" for reception, and I get HD broadcasts on channels that offer it. I'll be ok right? |
