What Sort of God Lets Tracy Morgan Get a TV Show?
 

I swear, if I see one more ad for Scare Tactics with Tracy Morgan shouting, "Fear is funny!" like a mentally deficient ten year old, I'm going to invent a time machine, travel back to the day after he was conceived, and slip some pennyroyal into his mom's coffee.

Sorry, but I think Morgan is hilarious. I don't think he's that good on TV but just him being him is funny to me.

He's great in 30 Rock.

The only thing that could possibly get me to watch some crappy cable reality show would be Tracy Morgan.

With that said, the frequency with which the commercial is airing the past couple of weeks is annoying. If you're going to burn that much air time, have your host say at least two or three things to mix it up.

I can't stand him and don't find him funny at all. Seeing him act like a complete ass during his Punk'd segment didn't help my opinion of him either.

I haven't seen 30 Rock but couldn't stand him on SNL. Come to think of it, that's probably why I've never watched 30 Rock.

He used to have a sitcom where he was a mechanic, didn't he?

Yes. It was on in the 2003-2004 season and was called The Tracy Morgan Show. I actually really enjoyed it for the 16 episodes that managed to air.

I enjoy him in 30 Rock, and I'm actually interested in watching Scare Tactics tonight.

No, he plays Tracy Jordan on that show, a black comedian with a penchant for pregnancy and drunk driving. It's a completely different dude.

He does an excellent job on 30 Rock, but I'm not sure I could handle an entire show revolving around him.

I watched the show last night, and my prediction turned out to be true. :eek:

I love the guy! I'm always shocked that this guy actually shows up for work, because he seems like someone who would drive for hours chasing a bee or something. The daily grind just doesn't seem like his cup of tea.
