Yeah that was very unexpected. Once I saw Jimmy appear and interacting with the crew, then I knew it was some sort of flashback. I agree the newspaper was a poignant ending. Damn it was really short at roughly 3 minutes.

Just got to watch this, very powerful ending. Had to rewind and watch the end again.

The spelling minisode was great. :lol: These minisodes have exactly what last season was missing, IMO: just the guys shooting the shit in the firehouse.

I have to agree the spelling episode was awesome! Some of the best and concise dialogue-driven material I have ever seen from the show.

I'm very optimistic that Rescue Me will be back to form in 2009.

This week's gets my vote for the worst of the minisodes. I liked the fact it was dialogue-free, but the plot was well-worn territory.

I liked the episode simply because of Callie Thorne. OMG, she looked so fucking hot in that blue dress.. :drool: :drool:

I love that they are making Sheila this naughty little vixen.
