With the exception of Hellga, I like how the female Gladiators are versatile and can work on any challenge. Crush is the best but Phoenix, Venom, and Jet are also quite good.
Titan is the best among the guys. Justice is underrated. He's a lot more athletic than we think. He does a decent job with Hang Tough, which is amazing when you consider his size.
I hate Hogan and the corny voiceover guy. Other than that, the show is solid in terms of providing mindless entertainment. It's not like anyone is expecting Masterpiece Theatre with AG.

Not sure on everyone's names since I haven't watched it religously since it came back, but I like it. Mainly for Hogan and the guy from Dodgeball.
Everytime I watch it I always think of Pyro and Gyro fighting over Luanne van Houten in The Simpsons.

The show would be better without all the stupid scripted dialog, no Laila Ali, and no Hogan. They just need to go back to the play-by-play announcer format and not the on-the-field interview format.

And the idiotic scripted play by play is why I refuse to watch.

Its cheesy TV - which I'm made peace with and enjoy it for what it is.
Women: Crush (obviously) and Venom. I think Siren is a bit under-used, but decent.
Men: Titan (obviously) and Justice. Wolf is just too cheesy to be likable.
Hated line: Not a line....words - "brother", "gladiatormaniac"....pretty much Hulk and Layla.
I wouldn't mind the canned voice over if it was more over the top, or more serious. Its hitting the perfectly wrong chord right now.

I think what makes the show entertaining is the cheese factor. The gladiators are impressive athletes but the producers aren't trying to portray this as serious competitive sports. Yeah, the lines and the interviews make me cringe at times, but I think the formula works, because I tune in every week.

I saw Crush fight in a mixed martial arts competition recently and she gave her opponent a serious beating. I don't think I've ever seen a female's face so damaged before at the end of a fight. They took her away immediately after it ended.

One thing is for sure, the female gladiators now are WAY hotter than the original series ones.
