I thought it was a good episode.

The only really bad skit I thought was the talk show.

The digital short with the introduction by Gervais was great:lol:

The spoof of the Nike commercial with Obama and Hillary was good as well

Amy Poehler didn't announce anything about leaving the show....

I guess her departure was really low-key, or she'll return this fall lookin' VERY pregnant.

I figure McCain made an apperance because both Hilary and Barack already did and when SNL returns it'll be about election time which is October.

Glad to see the A--holes back. :up: "I wanna do stand-up." "She wants to tell jokes."

In the Japanese Office, Sudekis and Hader did a great Jim and Dwigt.

Couldn't care less about Usher, but it was a good ep over all.

Is her leaving definite or not?

I thought it was an above-average show, with the weakest links being the cold opening and the baby prayer at the end. I was hoping they would whip out their office cast impressions and Japanese office was excellent! It was a great surprise having Ricky Gervais introduce it. I can't wait until when the show returns next season (The Office that is).

Gervais was the best part of the episode.

Second best part was the random Japanese commercial placed inside of the short with Darrell Hammond as Regis hawking Japanese tampons.

All he did was introduce the Japanese Office, which was a very funny skit.

Superb episode until Weekend Update ended and we were reminded how bad SNL can be.

Not like it means much, but according to her Wikipedia page she is coming back.

"Poehler has confirmed she will be back for the 2008 - 2009 season of SNL."

I enjoyed it, but I actually enjoyed the Shai LeBeoff one much better.

the brief Regis bit during the digital short was the funniest thing I've seen on snl in years. rotfl

I thought it was all a bit disappointing, but the Office part was decent, not laugh out loud funny.

i give credit to the impersonations in the Japanese Office because they had the mannerisms of the Office cast down, as well as japanese stereotypes. :)

Kristen Wiig's little laugh had me laughing.
