That's what I'm thinking, Toby on a show with an entire cast like The Office, only with him becoming one of the main characters instead.
I will, however, miss Michael's absurd hatred for him. Those moments have always been some of my favorite gags on The Office.

Agreed. The dynamics between Toby and Michael made for some of the best subtle jokes on the show.

Here are my wild speculations for tonight (I'm not spoilering them because I have no idea if any of these are true):
Pregnant: Phyllis (this would be comedic gold with Michael)
Engagement: Dwight proposes to Angela
Firing: Ryan gets canned for the website sales/trying to fire Jim.
Leaves: Toby, obviously.
I have no idea what to make of Jim and Pam. I think a proposal is possible, but I dunno, it seems kinda cliche to do it tonight.

You've got it all wrong, all of you.
At the end of the show, Toby is about to walk out. He looks around, sad and depressed as you almost always looks. Throughout the show, some tiny issue comes up between Jim and Pam - just a normal "fight" that every couple has, but it's really nothing. Maybe one wanted to go out that weekend, but the other did not. Toby only hears half of what's going on, so he thinks it's something bigger than it actually is.
He starts out the door, saying goodbye to everyone.
Then stops.
They do the cliché "guy is leaving but turns around and runs back" deal, ending with him coming face to face with Pam. He hits his knee as Jim is coming around the corner, and Toby proposes to Pam since he thinks that he finally has an opening. He finally got up the guts and overcame his fear and awkwardness. It was his final shot and he decided to take it.
She does her great "confused and full of terror look", Jim sorta smirks at her, and she says no, no no no no.
Toby, defeated once again, and embarrassed in front of everyone, keeps his head down, stands, turns around, and walks out very, very fast leaving Dunder Mifflin forever.
Jim walks up to pam, they make up and hug like they knew they would do all along. Michael goes up to Pam and says something about how now she understands why he hates Toby so much.
Anyway, enough pretending here.
I wonder which reaction from Michael they'll give us concerning Toby leaving. Will he be over the top excited from start to finish, or will he end up sad and missing him by the end of the show?

I thought I heard that Paul Lieberstein or however you spell his name (Toby) is not actually leaving The Office. Does that mean he'll just be staying on as a writer? Or does that mean he won't be leaving The Office universe and will end up on the spinoff? Or does that mean that all the speculation is wrong and Toby actually isn't leaving regardless of what the title of the finale is?

Michael's unreasonable hatred for Toby is one of the best parts of the show. That is the only reason I will be sad to see him go (if indeed he does)...that and his complete;y creepy social awkwardness (hand on Pam's leg, trying to give Jim dap, etc., etc.).

Sorry, OCD office fan. Between my two friends and I, we can almost quote full episodes. We just usually forget the order of scenes.
And wow 5 hours and 39 min away. I've been watching all Season 4 today in preparation. I finished my work months ago.
