Too true! Michael did love that watch. There has got to be a joke written for that early next season...whether it's Toby's name scrawled on it, or an obviously empty spot on the wall over Michael's shoulder in his first talking head scene next seasoin.

What I loved about this episode that Paul Liberstein wrote:

is that everyone in the Office had a moment to shine. Even Daryl and Jan.

Even Meredith, to some degree.

My observations/thoughts/lol moments (aside from the big ones people pointed out):

1.) Michael saying N3P.
2.) Michael's "Toby's set for a cruise and I am Captain Bruisin" set up.
3.) Was it just me or is Oscar the one who ratted out Ryan?
4.) 10:1 the new season opens with Jim in Ryan's old job.
5.) The return of Michael dancing.
6.) Thank goodness that douche Ryan is finally gone.
7.) Michael's utter hatred of everything HR.
EDIT: 8.) Mrs. Vance finally has the upper hand on Angela.

Yeah, I have the sneaking feeling that is going to be the write-out for both Jim and Pam's characters: Pam ends up staying in NY after her time at Pratt to pursue a career, and Jim takes Ryan's old job to follow her. That way both actors are freed from the regular show cast, but their characters are still available for the occasional future "drop-in" at Scranton.

That certainly seems like a natural and positive resolution to move the show on without them after (most likely) the end of next season.

This is the first I hear of a spin off too. I come here every damn day, how did I miss that? Any links to news articles, maybe cast? Id love to see Ed ONeil as a boss or character. And if Unhitched is gone (Fuck you Fox) PLEASE bring back Rashida

Glad Toby is gone, I hated that dude. Now if Andy can get hit by a truck Id be happy.

How did they find that YouTube of Ryan and why was it on there? How did it get there? Plus, is it really on utube?

What a great episode! I guess they saved the best for last, since the return.

I loved Michael's comment to Holly re Toby: "He tortured me... with his awfulness."

Holly/Kevin scenes were really well done.

Not sure why everyone's calling for the demise of the show after next season. Ratings are still very good, and the show is extremely popular...not to mention people are assuming Fischer and Krisinski are automatically gone after the next season when absolutely no evidence has been given to support that. Just silly baseless assumptions.

I don't really see any reason why the show won't last for a few more years. Just because some think it's not the "same old Office" doesn't mean others have a negative opinion - it's more popular now than in what some of you would call "the glory days".

I don't know that Krasinski and Fischer are such hot movie-stars. "License to Wed" and "Leatherheads" didn't exactly burn up the universe. If NBC wants to keep a Thursday-night anchor comedy, it can pay to keep them around.

Carrell is by far the biggest name on the show, and if anyone is going to price themselves out of NBC's ballpark, it's him. I am of the opinion that there is no "Office" after Steve Carrell, and that the show will be dealt a mortal blow if he leaves.

Also, Greg Daniels who runs the show is vital to its success. "King of the Hill" was markedly better when he was helming it, and there is nobody else who shares his gift for developing rounded characters who are decent people and strive for basic human dignity, while still meting out imaginative humiliations upon them.

The YouTube video looked like it was filmed on the cellphone of someone working at the New York office. So I am guessing they uploaded it to Youtube and spread the link via company email like gossip.

I doubt any main characters are leaving the show anytime soon. I am pretty sure that a 5 season contract is pretty much standard for this kind of show.

With the actress playing Angela being pregnant, it would be comedy gold for next year to start with her being pregnant on the show and Andy or Dwigt not knowing who was the father (or each thinking they were the father, which could tick off Michael beecause Dwigt is copying him again in becoming a father).

Count me in as this being an awesome episode. I say the best one since Gay Witch Hunt. Loved the Kevin storyline. I had to pause my DVR after every scene I was laughing so hard.

Also loved the opening scene. Love the Jim pranks on Dwigt.

By the way, I wonder how much an elevator pass costs?

Angela is not pregnant anymore.

At first I was kind of hoping for Michael to go to far with the Star Wars thing and piss Holly off (No Respect I get!), but then I realized, like Jim was trying to say, there's plenty of time for that!

And even if Andy did steal Jim's perfect proposal moment, you think he would have still gone through with it, since it'd be a fun story they could tell their kids

What was the significance of the watch going off? I didn't get that one. I know it was Michael's watch.

Michael also stopped himself from saying "That's what she said." to Holly on the Ferris wheel.

No significance other than the humor in Toby's reaction to an alarm that no longer served a purpose.

Edit: I must have missed that eariler part when Michael set it off. That's a nicer payoff.

Michael set the alarm on that watch at the beginning of the episode to go off when Toby actually left for good.

I wonder if this time they'll use the webisodes for Jim and Pam since they already have a storyline to use during the break. Then again, they could use it as an excuse for neither of them to be in any of the webisodes since it would explain why they aren't there (Pam gone for a few months, Jim visiting her every now and then).

I actually feel bad for Andy. If he knew about Dwight and Angela, that would be one thing, but I don't believe he ever knew about the two of them.

Anyone else think that we could see Andy promoted to Ryan's job now?

I loved the only two pictures they had of Toby. Just one taken right after another, when he didn't even really expect it it seemed.

I also loved when Holly "turned" on Toby the first time she was meeting Michael. She's one smart cookie.

There's so many great things about this episode, I notice more and more as I watch it again. When Jim was talking to Ryan on the phone, talking about the big sale, Ryan goes "congratulations" and Jim immediately says thanks and Ryan snaps back without skipping a beat "don't interrupt, congratulations on doing your job".

And as always, I think it's great when Jim and Michael interact one-on-one. The way Jim deals with Michael, it's just perfect. The entire thing about MP3s, love, all of that. One of my favorite parts about the series is when they're together on screen like that.

After reflecting, I think this my favorite Office episode, eclipsing Casino Night.

It had classic office humor (the Kevin/Holly thing was among the best jokes they've ever done), hugely awkward moments, and some real drama (did anyone not feel bad for Michael at the end?). I didn't think they could come up with a cliffhanger to top last year's, and they did.

Very solid episode, and a really fine season finale whetting our appetite for the next season.
