If you pick Digital Preferred with Showtime (or HBO), the rate goes from $52.50 to $80.25/month.

http://www.comcast.com/shop/buyflow/default.ashx

Scroll down to the Digital Preferred with HBO and click the "See Channel Lineup", which opens up another window which allows you to click a drop-down box to pick "Digital Preferred with Showtime".

But I would also just call Comcast and ask them.

holey crap!!!! $30 difference? Here in Northern California its $12 a month for your first premium, $9 for you second and $6 for each additional. Is it really $80 a month just just showtime, or for Showtime/HBO/Starz/Cinemax/Movie channel?

Here in OKC through Cox, it is $12 for your first, $6 for additional and if you get all it is only $25 total IIRC. It was gonna be $18 for HBO & Showtime or $25 to have those plus Cinemax, TMC and Starz.

Call Comcast and ask if they have any promotion for Showtime. Most of the time they have something.

Do you have another premium channel, like HBO? If so, call and tell them you want to cancel it. They'll offer a promotional rate that will often throw in Showtime for a big discount (or free). If you don't have any premium channels, call up and say you want to cancel service completely. Again, you'll be offered some great deal.

If you have internet with them, you may be able to swing something for the "triple play" by adding their phone (although their phone system isn't great). I did something like that, which ended up with me getting Showtime tossed in (with some other stuff) at no cost.
