Show with Bullet Scar as next tattoo statement

OK, I have a question. I had a recording of a show I showed to some friends in the past that showed a guy who wanted to go to the next level of body modification (beyond tattoos, piercings, branding...). He went to some guy who had a type of warehouse where he had various knives and guns. That guy ending up shooting him (with his permission) in his shoulder, and then was whisked away in an ambulance. My question is, does anyone remember what show this was? I always got a kick out of showing it to people, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. Anyway, thanks if you can help.

It almost sounds like the Taboo series that is on The National Geographic Channel. They had a show on extreme body modifications at one point.

I think we're getting closer. I must try to research more.

I don't know what the show is, but it reminds of me of that scene in Dirty Harry where the guy pays someone to beat him up so he can blame it on Callahan.

I only remember this as an episode of Grey's Anatomy. Who knew this was based on a real thing?

Yep, that's it. Thanks. I don't recall how I saw it, but I know I either had it recorded on VHS or a DVD with it on it. If I figure out it's not on my DVDs I may have to purchase this. It's very good at getting an audience reaction. Thanks again.
