I say David Archuleta goes home this week. He's been struggling lately as it is, and this doesn't sound like a good fit for him.

If they can actually choose from that entire list, it should be easy for everyone to find something in their sweet spot.

And nothing says rock and roll hall of fame like Bo Bice!

Well, if AI folklore holds up, Final Four Week during odd-numbered seasons will give us a shocking boot. The only two contestants that would surprise us with exits this week are the two Davids. Archie has been coasting on the tweener/grandma vote for a while, so he's looking good for a pink slip.

I like Syesha. One of the better ones left but she doesn't get the votes. She's probably going home no matter how she does tonight. Castro should have been long gone. Damn those teenyboppers!

Syesha's stock has been rising lately, and I think she benefits the most from Brooke's execution last week. As long as she chooses fun, uptempo songs -- and stays away from diva ballads -- she'll be fine.

I would love to see Giggles get the boot this week, but me thinks Castro is going home.

Tonight's performance show is scheduled to last a little past 8pm CDT (it's a 62 minute show, not a 60 minute show). And my gut feeling is that Jason Castro will be going home, but it could be Syesha. I'll make my pick later tonight.

Castro should have been long gone!

Someone was asking last week if this forum was representative of the voting public, and someone a while back said being a hot woman doesn't count for what it used to. Clearly it's the texting-is-my-life vote driving the bus these days. Even if this forum WAS representative, I'm sure we don't vote nearly as much as them. I myself tend to watch the show on DVR and rarely vote.

How's it looking tonight? I'm stuck away from a TV and will miss the show, for better or worse.

Cook and Castro sucked, Syesha was good, Archuleta was clearly heads above the rest.

Hungry Like the Wolf? What the hell was that?

Spoiler:
David A did well, judges loved him. David Cook was 1 for 2. Syeesha sang well and played the black card (talking about the civil rights movement). Castro was awful his first song and forgot at least one whole line in his second song

Amen!
As much as I enjoyed Archie's version of Stand By Me.... Bo's was better. Only because he was so comfortable with every song he did... Archie is not comfortable. He's lacking maturity and experience.

Jason forgetting the lyrics at this stage of the game is unforgivable.
His attitude about the whole thing is shameful.

Castro's first song didn't work, but I think I wouldn't have liked the second if he hadn't forgotten it. It was 'nice' (though the show doesn't reward that)

Syesha is the token diva type. She sings well, but does over-played songs with no originality. boring.

Davy A. sounds like he should totally win the grade school talent show.

Cook was good. The first was a dull song, but he did it well enough.

I guess I just don't see it but I thought Archuleta was as boring and avg as he usually is... But of course Castro was his predictable awful self who will get by again because Randy and Simon trashed him. Cook's first song was a pretty wierd pick and pretty average but thought he was pretty good with Baba O' Reilly. And sadly Syesha was pretty good but will probably be going bye-bye.

Giggles is the son of John Rzeznik.

Either that or he is heavily influenced by the mantra "sound the same in every song!"

... but I have to give him points for dropping the Sean Kingston inspired line to get the preteen chicks start texting in their votes.

"All you bee-a-you-tee-ful girls... won't you stand by me."

Some needs to create a gif of that shot before the commercial when Ryan grabbed Archuletta by the shoulders from behind. That just cracked me up and I ran it back a few times.
