Scrubs - My Dumb Luck | 04.24.08 |

I've never started one of these threads before, but I just watched my DVRed episode of Scrubs, and I thought it was one of the funniest I've seen in a while. I'm a big fan of this show, so seeing it close things up is kind of a tough thing to do. Anyone else catch it? Thoughts?

Can't believe Kelso is really going away.

Overally, episode was up to Scrubs standard in the first couple of seasons.

"That's an otter".

I thought that it was weak. Although I did laugh when Kelso was talking about the faces of the people he killed in the hospital, and then scared the crap out of the intern.

"It's better to have an enemy that you know, than one that you don't."

Dr. Kelso

oh... and at Ted's streak!

... and does anyone else realize that the Dudemiester has been noticeably absent since the show started again?

Great episode. Very funny.

Sad to see Kelso go though. Hopefully he still makes an appearance.

I'm sure Kelso will return as a special consultant to the hospital. He'll probably make lots more money for far less work.

Kelso's gone and this thread only has 9 posts?! Thought there would be more talk of this one.

Loved JD's sketch of Carla's boob.

Its not "official" yet but its ""official"". No links as its not "official", but you can check out TVGuide.com or EOnline...they often have small updates. NBC has no intentions of ever paying for a single episode after the "Series Finale" in 3 weeks. One additional episode is already done and a second being filmed right now for an 18 episode season next year on ABC...We will find out more at upfronts in a few weeks. But ABC has "officially" picked up Scrubs for its "final" season.

I'm with you. Scrubs is one of the only shows that can make me get all weepy and laugh hysterically in the same episode. It's certainly a special kind of show.

That's AWESOME news, thanks! I don't visit many entertainment type sites, so I had no idea they already had another episode in the can and one on the way for ABC.

Well they are definitely wrapping up that character... I think I read
Spoiler:
that Kelso dies, so he probably gets admitted as a patient.

Actually Keith hasn't been on the show since the 2nd episode of the season - "My Hard Labor" - 11/1/2007. I think the character is done...

Great to see all the doctors on the "love train" - especially Colonel Doctor, Doctor Mickhead and Doctor Beardface. Odd that they've re-added Aloma Wright as Nurse Shirley, but we haven't seen her at all since episode 4 of this season.

I'm 99.99% certain that they won't.

I thought it was a highly enjoyable ep.

Definitely not. The production staff has their own special techniques to shoot and produce everything on set - including special effects. If would be cost prohibitive to try to do it in HD and would have to do post production out of house. Bill Lawrence has said they will never do HD.
