True. I guess the other thing they could be setting up is Christina picking somebody else before Corey.

She's just going to sabotage everything she touches if not just screw it up with her slow, lazy-assed incompentance. Same with Ben. And why, oh WHY are they bringing back no-fingertip Matt?

I think it would be cool if the final two could pick teams from the booted chefs and THEN make them use the other person's team.
That part got me wondering about the last week episode preview where Petrozza said "she lied to me." I guess Jen would be on Petrozza's team - since we all know Jen lied lot on previous episodes.

Yeah, what happened to Christina crying her eyes out as per the promo last week?

It could have been the editing again and maybe it was when her parents showed up?

Definitely not. The whole Petrozza saying she lied to me thing wasn't in it either.

The crazy thing about the misleading promos is that I doubt that anyone who watches Hell's Kitchen would suddenly stop watching if they cut the bullshit and gave us honest promos. Enough insanity ensues on these episodes to keep us entertained, so why lie about it?

As if knowing would at all diminish my enjoyment of the two-hour trainwreck finale!

Yeah, it's been 'ruined' the past few years in advance anyways, but it's still a damn fun watch...

Just to clarify there is still 2 more episodes left.....Tomorrow and next week. Tomorrow is not a 2 hour finale as some of you assumed it was.

I've watched every season, and I could have sworn that the "design your own kitchen" episode was always the two hour finale. Ah well, I'm glad to hear it's on for another two weeks, anyhow.

So it's split up? There won't be an elimination tonight?

It's already the final two. The final elimination is next week's episode. The only cliffhanger was who got stuck with either Matt or Jenn on their (Petrozza or Christine's) team.

Gotcha.

I'm watching it tonight, but being on the West Coast it doesn't star for another 20 minutes.

I was just under the impression that tonight was the season finale.

Using my DVR, I found out which team Matt and Jen are one.

Spoiler:
Jen is with Petrozza and Matt is with Christina.

Yeah, I thought it was odd that they gave it away on the preview. Ohwell.

That was pretty obvious anyway from the sideline interviews. No way would it have been the other way around with Petrozza getting essentially the final pick.

From the previews it looks like Jen will be doing nothing but f-ing her team over either by intended negligence or simple incompentence, as expected.

Overall this episode was boring filler. 6+ minutes showing us mini recaps of the whole season so far? Christina "upset" out her decorating patterns (though funny to see the flashback SHOW she got what she asked for). So now why did Christina bitch about losing floor space in her dining space but just bent over when asked to let Petrozza encroach for his fireplace? Whoopi Goldberg showing up at London NYC just to shake hands and congratulate the finalists - that was just weird. I mean the entire encounter served no purpose, and Goldberg was just standing around with nothing to say. Neither of those dishes sounded like any great shakes to me - but again we're at the word of the judges since we can't taste them. Seemed like awfully small servings for 5 judges...

What about the fact that it went 2-0 Petrozza, only to be tied up and depend on the last vote? Has there ever been a challenge on Hell's Kitchen where it was a blowout or didn't go down to the wire?

At least Petrozza won that challenge and finally got the Christina monkey off of his back.

I think much of this show is alot more setup then we believe. When the winning prize is a photoshoot, obviously the girls are going to win. there's a photoshoot ever year and the girls have always won that challenge.
Also, when did they film that scene at times square? How in the world did it not get leaked out earlier that the final two were christina and petrozza?

Yes. For instance in week 3 during the chicken competition where each chef had 5 minutes to cut a chicken into 8 acceptable parts (2 legs, thighs, wings, breasts). The women got 44 out of 48 while the men blew it after Craig got 2 out of 8 making it impossible for the men to win. Nowhere near "down to the wire".

I believe this was filmed last fall/winter. But yeah, considering how large that crowd was and to top it off there was a huge graphic saying that Petrozza and Christina were the finalists, I am also surprised this didn't leak months ago.
