There's only two episodes left. We don't need a villain at this point -- the adrenaline of the prize is enough to carry the show from here.

Jen's gone and the Lakers get destroyed in the same night! Life doesn't get much better than this.

for someone with a supposed burned hand, Chef Ramsay was sure doing alot of clapping and high-fiving.

Well, I guess you didn't see the previews for next week where they show
Spoiler:
Petrozza acting as head chef and tearing someone a new one a la Ramsay.

I said EXACTLY the same thing. The thing looked a little staged to me though. Did anyone else notice that up to that point all the handles had rubber grip protectors on them to prevent something like that AND that Ramsay never touched a handle up to that point without a towel in his hand? Seems a little fishy to me. Maybe they did that because Christina didn't screw anything else up during service to keep us wondering who'd be chosen as the two up for dismissal...

(Gordon announcing the elimination) "Corey! (stunned silence) Say goodbye to Jen."

Tricky editing. At the end of every season, Gordon has the remaining contestants chew him out like a right proper chef. As I recall, Bonnie was quite skilled at it last season.

This was a pretty good episode. Jen was such a nutjob. I was so glad to see her finally go. I know he wasn't going to eliminate Cory. Any time he pauses before finishing a signature line you know he's going to change it up. Cory needs to be next, though. Petrozza is really stepping up. I'd love to see him win it. Next week looks to be another great episode with lots of drama.

Come on, it's not like he got burned so badly. I have held hot metal and dropped quickly. It hurt for little while and then it's fine within an hour. No big deal.

Really? Was the metal so hot that it was still evaporating water several minutes after you burned yourself?

If what they showed was true, he'd have had some SERIOUS second or third degree burns (not to mention his skin would have stuck to the metal).

I've burned myself many times, including trying to keep two red-hot brass pipe together which got myself 2nd degree burn on my palms. What I seen that Gordon didn't held the pan handle too long to get 2nd degree burn.

Still, with a 1st degree burn, you're not really looking to high-five people 30 minutes later.

I guess you didn't realized that Gordon used high 5's with his right hand, not LEFT hand where he got burned from.

I love Gordon's little fake outs. The best part was when he said "Say goodbye to Jen!" Corey got this look of relief on her face, followed a split second later by a look of confusion: "Wait -- am I saying goodbye because she's leaving or am I saying goodbye because I'm leaving?"

I wish he had gone with:

"Corey! .... Say goodbye to Jen! ... And Christina and Petrozza! ... Should also say goodbye to Jen!"

He wasn't CLAPPING at the end of service with just his right hand. Again, I think it was a stunt. Neither pan came from over the fire. The first, in fact, is quite clearly shown as being on the edge of the stove - not even on the flame - when Christina picks it up to deliver it...

So which is it? Should he have been having no problem or was he simply not using the hand he didn't burn? Which is it?

With all of the continuity errors on this show, I wouldn't be surprised if Gordon was high-fiving weeks after the service was filmed.

I don't know since you're so obviously mistaken. Maybe you should just re-watch the episode again yourself (as I did) and you wouldn't have to argue yourself?

Fucking a. FINALLY. I was yelling at my monitor for Jenn to leave. Her little childish bullshit attitude was REALLY starting to PISS me off. Voting for Christina twice? Not helping with the eggs for the scallops? I mean come the fuck on. She's so full of herself it's a wonder she acts the way she does.

Glad to see those three still left. Why was Christina singled out at the end credits? It looked like she was standing on the chopping block? Hmm

Something about Christina lying.

I wonder why the preview gave away one of the people on the chopping block next week...unless next week all 3 of them will be on the chopping block.

So glad that Jenn is gone. I love the show, but she ALMOST made it unbearable to watch. Like I said a couple weeks ago, I've never seen a tv personality that I hated more than her. Maybe it's just the way the show was edited, but she came off as an absolutely disgusting person.

I really don't have a favorite between these 3. These 3 and Bobby have been my favorites since day 1, so I don't care who wins. I guess if I had to say who I'd want to win least I guess it would be Corey. Surprisingly she's been screwing up a lot the last couple weeks and she really is a bit of a bitch. She'd probably be despised by most people if Jenn hadn't been on the show. Compared to Jenn she's a saint, but she's a catty, arrogant, backstabber too...just not as bad Jenn.

No amount of editing can make her look any worse than she is.

I'm also really glad to see her go. Every season hits a point where the pretenders are all gone and the contenders start really getting into it, and Jen delayed that this season. She never had a chance, but Ramsay kept her around for better television.

I like Petrozza's chances if this is a real competition. Ramsay's biggest complaint about him goes something like "Petrozza, how does such amazing food come out of that mess?" Hardly devastating.
