Reality show clichés

What are the annoying clichés have you heard from the mouth of idiots on reality tv?

My contribution:

"I came here to win." <- no shit?

Jadzia 03-27-08 10:13 PM

Or when voting someone out:

"You're playing the game."

Duh.

Patman 03-27-08 10:16 PM

"I just wanted to win a prize for my momma."

Groucho 03-27-08 10:17 PM

Introducing a "big twist" for the season that only lasts an episode or two before the game goes back to the same old shit.

TwineTime 03-27-08 10:21 PM

Groucho threw me under the bus.

Ronnie Dobbs 03-27-08 10:23 PM

black people are angry, white women are dramatic and everytime they have someone who is from the south or west he always wears a western shirt and/or cowboy hat. I'm from Texas and I've never owned a cowboy hat.

mwbmis 03-27-08 10:26 PM

On shows like Project Runway and Top Chef the always appropriate "You haven't heard the last from me". Yeah, we probably have.

Jadzia 03-27-08 10:34 PM

Teams of men vs. women

Patman 03-27-08 10:35 PM

"God wants good people to win."

JCWBobC 03-27-08 10:38 PM

"I never thought I would fall for someone on a reality show"

"I'm not here to make friends"-Sorta the same as the OP's contribution

"This show is harder than it looks on TV"

"I can't believe I didn't see that coming" Usually said right after they've been kicked off the island/out of the house/etc...

Bluelitespecial 03-27-08 10:51 PM

It sounds like we are listing every cliche from this season of Big Brother.

Darq 03-27-08 11:13 PM

It's ON.

Patman 03-27-08 11:46 PM

"Strategery is the name of the game."

The fact that they're on. ;)

The Bus 03-28-08 09:22 AM

Dramatic music with a dramatic closeup of someone's facial response said to something outrageous.

The most common cliché I encounter is me changing the channel.

rfduncan 03-28-08 09:26 AM

How about a LONG-ASSED "Coming up..." where they essentially show you the entire content of the next segment to the next "Coming up"? Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew and High School Reunion are both extreme cases notorious for this!

RichC2 03-28-08 09:36 AM

I've had to work hard to get where I am.

HotThang 03-28-08 09:51 AM

"I've worked so hard to get here"
"I deserve this more than anyone here because..."
"I'm not playing a game. I'm just being myself and that should carry me to the end."
"If Shamicka Lynn isn't here to win, she should just go home!"

Most courtesy of America's Next...Top...Model.

LOL Jinks!

If there is a black person/people...they will fight before the end of the season.

Check out MTV's Making The Band with Diddy's rap group, "Da Band". The members brawled every single episode!

raven56706 03-28-08 10:42 AM

how about:

I am a girl from a small town but i love girl on girl action and dont mind drinking til i make mistakes for the rest of my life

josepotato 03-28-08 10:48 AM

"That's OK, That's OK."

On American Idol when the judges didn't like your performance, or Deal or No Deal when you pick a case holding a large amount.
