P.S. Can we write off Cl-Lana once and for all?
This is the 1st episode all season that includes the entire opening credits cast! Woo-hoo!

I liked it, mainly because it didn't all the emo-mopiness of the really sordid Smallville episodes, and just went on with plot and plot and more plot, all the while sending the principals to Zurich to get to the secret of the Swann and the traveler. Not all that sad if Lana stays in her state, though they did take some time with Clana to soak in the cost of his secret and give him some incentive to get to the bottom of it all.

Another so so ep. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good. Just so so. Not enough Kara or Clark, too much "Pussy Clark", too much Lana, too much Lois, and another criptic villian that wants something.

It would have been interesting if the writers made the Wayne's one of the participants in the Veritas group. It would have meant that the Lionel Luthor was the catalyst for the Batman.
On the episode, in reference to flying - stop teasing - either have him fly or don't bring up the subject. Overall, I did enjoy the episode (I'm a fan of story arcs)

That would have been godawful. Smallville's a fun show, don't get me wrong. But keep the Batman mythos far the hell away from any of the Luthor BS.
Random. It was Random. Any time a writer tries to stylistically add some sort of "larger plan" behind the death of Bruce's parents, it completely takes the piss out of the impetus Bob Kane gave him. He is the personification of the result of random violence taken to a vengeful extreme.
wow, ok sorry, guys. Off-topic dork rant over.
As for the episode, best in a long time. Unfortunately, Clark isn't going to learn to fly, Lana is going to get "cured" just as deus ex machina as she always does and the status quo will be restored (Boo!). But for now, that was a pretty kickass episode.

Soooo, who was in the wheelchair in the flashback? Professor X? Is he also part of Veritas?
To be honest, the way Smallville is going I wouldn't be shocked.

So is this the way they are writing Lana off the show since Kreuk is not returning full time next year?
Much more Dramatic than her going off to Paris or China again I suppose.

How do none of you mention lois' boobs and lois watching jimmy watching lois...that cracked me up, and I agree with everything else said, show is old , clark is a pussy, never hated lana to much ugh. Don't even care if I watch it anymore but I do.

They'll reboot Lana and puss out again, I'm sure. They don't have the balls to kill her for goodsies.
I liked the Lois and Jimmy team-up the best, actually. It was funny to me that the pairing seemed a little strange at first...then it hit me that this is how it would be from here on out.
The only downside to it is that makes Chloe (whom I love) into even more of a useless character. Lois (who I also enjoy...hence the problem) is slowly taking over her role.
