No Simpsons thread for 3/9/08 ?

Nobody watched it?

For me, it was one of the best episodes in the last years. It didn't have the easy joke, like they usually do lately. Actually, I kinda didn't like Homer's part.

I don't know, maybe I was in the mood, but I haven't enjoyed a Simpsons episode like this in years.

There is now

this episode was kind of weak - but a classic line came out of it

"Ah dinner time, the time between work and drunk!"

I really enjoyed this episode, Martin falling off the cliff and Homer having an affair with a Gyro lamb kabob really had me rolling.

Pretty good episode-- much better than the last few. I loved Homer's lamb affair, and the Cheater's host telling them to turn the camera off. Also liked Nelson's "Columbo" act (Ah... there's just one more thing).

I'd say it was an excellent episode, and as good as any episode from seasons 1-8.

It had two solid stories, with some great pop-culture references, social commentary, and hilarious character moments for every character featured in the episode.

I'd give it an A+ if I were comparing it to current seasons, and a solid B compared to earlier seasons.

I didn't realize that it was a new episode.

I haven't paid much attention to the TV shows ever since the strike.

The Simpsons are always quite clever in their naming conventions...I especially loved "Pudding on the Ritz".
