Caught the episode last night. It was terrible. Nothing funny about it. Rashida needs to go back to the office.

Pardon my behind-the scenes ignorance, but did she willingly leave the Office? I just figured that after a season her storyline had ran its course and they wrote her out. Anyone know the real story?

chino77 03-10-08 04:52 PM

i actually liked it. i found it much funnier than most fox sitcoms.

kvrdave 03-11-08 10:47 AM

I turned it off, and that is very unusual for me.

mrpayroll 03-11-08 11:42 AM

I deleted my season pass. Not a single laugh from me.

Well, one of the Donohoe twins (Becky, I think) showed up to display her own set of twins with a gratuitous slo-mo shot of her coming out of the pool.

The opening bit with the blind dining, and the aftermath was a nice sight gag.

Yup! Becky O'Donahue. I said it was her to my wife as soon as I saw her and she was like, who?. And she's the avid Idol watcher. I just pay attention to the hot contestants. :D

For such a thin white dress, it really hid any revealing assets. :(

Patman 03-17-08 07:46 AM

I think Becky was wearing the same heavy duty bra that Valerie Perrine did in Superman I when she went into the water to save Supes.

TGM 03-17-08 09:17 AM

I *REALLY* want to like this show, but I just cannot stand Bierko. He's like Brendan Fraser without the looks or charisma.

When Becky surfaced with the "little skateboarder dude", you see her check and adjust to make sure nothing popped out. :(

Jadzia 03-17-08 12:07 PM

I laughed at the line "What are you giving the kid? Wood?"

Ravenous 03-17-08 04:25 PM

Shit, I thought the episode last night was the pilot/premier! So Ive missed 2? Damn. The shows alright. I think Bierko is cool and just goofy but I love Jones and she makes it all worth it

A new tv first, man rape by a chimpanzee. Didn't know the Farelly brothers were behind this at first. Makes sense now. Caught another episode last night. Very different from the pilot. Not investing in this show.

Patman 03-23-08 09:33 PM

Earlier episode tonight: Thought it was funny to have Craig Bierko in the boxing ring after seeing his beefed up as Max Baer in "Cinderella Man". The Farrelley Bros. humor was very evident in the pee-training sequence.

Later episode tonight: not too funny, even if it did get tied up with the Cheaters crew cameo.

Ronnie Dobbs 03-23-08 09:57 PM

this reminds me of all those bad mid 90s FOX sitcoms.

Charlie Goose 03-24-08 08:45 AM

I like the scenes between Craig Bierko and Rashida Jones. When the show focuses on the other two, it just dies. The boxing gags in the first episode were decent.

Yeah, nothing interesting in "Freddy". I was way done with Wil Valderrama's Fez, and this isn't remotely as good. And Tommy? He's just lame. Had trouble making it all the way through "Conjoined Twins Pitch No-Hitter". Doubt I'll be returning.

Original Desmond 03-29-08 07:22 AM

really liking this show, each episode gets better

BDB 03-29-08 04:17 PM

I like Freddy of all the characters..

It's harmless comedy to me.

Ravenous 03-29-08 04:22 PM

Im digging the show. I really hope it sticks around. I agree that it does slow down when not focused on Bierko and Jones.

skatefan20 03-31-08 12:04 AM

LOVED tonight's episode!
rotfl The entire arc with the animal activist

Agree. Hopefully the network greenlights more episodes.

The Pilot was uneven and a terrible setup, but I'm glad I stuck around for the subsequent episodes. Just absurd and HILARIOUS! Best new show that FOX has premiered this season!

Good nite of non-animated comedy with Unhitched and the new Tracy Ullmann show.

Jadzia 03-31-08 01:27 AM

So was this the last episode filmed? I don't see anymore on the schedule and I seem to recall they had only made a handful before the strike.

Ravenous 03-31-08 08:32 PM

Man I hope they do more. It seems to be finding a niche. I really like the show even though the material is kinda expected. I saw that rat hitting Bierko right off the bat but I still laughed. Plus running out with the lobster was done in another show wasnt it? Still good.

Ahhh Rashida

Heliosphann 04-01-08 08:58 PM

This show has kinda been up and down for me, but a friend and I watched last nights episode and it's was pretty damn hilarious.

I'd like to see this show get another run, I think it has good potential.

movieking 04-02-08 06:53 PM

Definitely hit or miss, but so far it's been pretty good.
