Synopsis:

Spoiler:

A deadly virus has jumped the Mississippi and is heading toward Kansas, but the vaccine is being held up by the contractor, J&R. Meanwhile, Hawkins convinces Beck (Esai Morales) that the new government may have a hidden agenda. Goetz: D.B. Sweeney.

FYI, this is the last episode that leaked onto the internet a few months ago.

At Wondercon, folks from CBS handed out prints with that design. The other side of the prints had the following message:

BECOME PART OF THE EXCLUSIVE JERICHO RANGER CLUB NOW

You fought hard to bring your show back, now reap the benefits of being a Jericho Ranger.

Log onto http://www.cbs.com/nuts each week (your login name is: rangers; and the password is: jerichonuts) to receive advance, exclusive clips from upcoming episodes of Jericho.

Now here's the capper... if we get 1,000,000 hits to this website, CBS will send you a link to get the secret, alternate ending to the series! No matter what ending airs, you will be able to see the other ending. Feel free to send this link to your family and friends and continue to help spread the word about the show.

Go nuts, again. Support Jericho and get a part of the show no one will ever see.

New episode for me next week! Woot!

mnementh 02-26-08 07:26 PM

If anyone's interested, tonight's episode of Big Brother has a Jericho theme.

Red Dog 02-27-08 07:43 AM

Whenever they say J&R, I keep thinking about the music/electronics store.

The whole secret code thing at the end was truly bizarre, if it was meant for Hawkins.

I guess this means that they have decided these 7 episode are it! Kinda disappointing. I really enjoy the show; but here we are the day after a new episode and only 5 posts... Lost is usually around 5 pages by now (I know there is more cliffhanging; but is the interest still out there or was CBS right to cancel the show?)

Somebody help me out please.
1)WEHT Jake's mom?
2)WEHT Hawkins' kids?
3)WEHT Stanley's sister's boyfriend?
4)Am I supposed to understand everything Hawkins is doing?

1) She is on a new show...although I can't remember which one. I think it's Eli Stone, and they mentioned in one of the new episodes that she went to another town to stay with some family.
2) Staying with some of their friends and their families I believe, or at least that is what they always say.
3) He was a nobody and she probably broke up with him when she realized that he didn't love her...we really don't know.
4) Nope, I think that is going to be the big reveal at the end...find out what Hawkins is doing and what the real new Cheyenne Gov't is up to.

Also, I believe due to the budget cuts this season, they probably couldn't afford to keep her and several other characters from last season. Michael Gaston is lucky to even have a "Guest star" status.

I'm glad we haven't seen any of the first 3.

I assume NO to 4 because like I said before, I had no idea WTF was up with the piece of paper that had a bunch numbers on it that just happened to be sitting out in a stack out in the open in a place where I have no idea the 'contact' would expect Hawkins to be.

I liked it glad we're at least seeing a resolution if the show doesn't get picked up again.
Edit-Was there a preview for last night's episode? My stupid local CBS affiliate jumped right into the news and didn't even show the credits.

Jimmy James 02-27-08 05:56 PM

I have to say that I'm happy with the balance of the show so far. It hasn't yet turned into the Hawkins on the road sort of thing I worried about after the second season debut.

mwbmis 02-27-08 09:23 PM

I'm glad to see the series has continued with the momentum it developed the second half of last year.

As for the missing characters...I don't think most of the them have truly been "missed". I like how they kind of rotate in familiar faces from week to week though. From the previews it looks like
Spoiler:
Skylar
is back for an appearance next week.

So the chick at J&R doctored the inventory on the viles so I'm assuming she and Dale somehow worked together to make sure the exact right number got taken. And without Jake even knowing about it. Seems like it would be pretty difficult to do and Jake was adamant that J&R doesn't make mistakes on inventory so they had to get it exactly right down to the last vile.

Orbi-Wan Techno 02-28-08 06:18 AM

Remember what she told Jake's brother - "For everyone one of them, there is one of us." Seems to me that J&R have their own internal rebellion going on. No doubt, someone on the other end is also working with Trish.
