Supernatural -- "Jus In Bello"
"Jus In Bello"
Synopsis: Spoiler:
Kim Manners directs. Seem to be the last pre-strike episode they have in the can. :( |
-popcorn-
|
It is the last of the prestrike episodes, but from the previews it looks very promising. After this no more SN until new episodes start up again in April.
|
Wow that was actually really good.
Spoiler:
|
I busted out a LOL with the "I shot the sherriff" rejoinder.
|
Dean cracks me up.
Good episode. |

nice episode, very Assault on PRecinct 13

Little late to the party, but just watched the episode. I also was certain they would set up Henrickson to become a hunter. But sorry, they're making Lillith out to be an uber-powerful Demon, more powerful than yellow-eyes. No f'ing way some FBI agent makes it out alive when he's standing a couple feet from her when she does her thing. That would ridiculously minimize her power, and it certainly seems with the whole white eye thing they're making her out to be one of Hell's major players. Henrickson is dead. Beyond dead.
|
We still don't know exactly what her powers are. If I recall the episode, Lilith asked where Sam and Dean were, and before she even got an answer, she did the whole "white flash of light" thing.
For all we know, she makes people her minions, or forces demons into their bodies, or something else. I think Henrickson probably is dead, but only at about 75%-80% odds... this show hasn't exactly been squeemish about showing characters when they get offed, so not seeing a body is a big deal. |
The news report identified the individuals that died in the blast. I figured they used dental records or something like that.

Good episode.
Thoughts: - Nice to see the FBI agent back on their trail again (of course, once he supported their fight, you knew his time was up!) - So the previous episode was a play on Groundhog Day and this episode was a play on (the original) Assault on Precinct 13. Which other movie that I'm a big fan of will be next on the show? ;) - A little girl as the powerful demon and not some smokin' hot chick - that twist alone surprised me! - And what about that "demon neutron bomb" spell Ruby talked about doing? I expect that'll come up again in a future episode at some point. BTW, how does the strike affect Dean's 1-year deal? Without a whole season's worth of episodes this year, will that storyline continue into next season with it just being part of the same "year" or will they wrap it up in whatever episodes are still going to be made for this season? |

Not to mention (but I will) INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE.
|
Since we're discussing other evil little girls now, if it was a rip off of anything, which it wasn't, it was at least highly influenced by the Silent Hill film. For a brief second I almost thought it was the same actress, the two looked the same, dressed similarly albeit in different colors and had the same hair.
