This batch (geeks/beauts) in general is just not as engaging as previous seasons.

I agree about Joe and Tyra. At first I was feeling sorry for Tyra that Joe looks to have given up... but seeing her actions during the soap opera challenge took away those feelings. And she was very condescending to him after the makeover when he was talking about his old look being a safety blanket. I couldn't believe it when she chose him to be her partner. Both of them are there to change. But neither of them are really willing. I hope they lose next week.

I think that the "sweater vest enthusiast" is getting a little too big in his head. That whole thing with the bitch model earlier in the season trying to cement his support was taken in the wrong way and it still seems to have stuck. I still don't think that he realizes that she was just trying to use him.

The funniest part of the show was when the host said the prize was going to the premiere of the blockbuster movie Prom Night. The only thing blockbuster about it is that's where you'll find it in about a month.

I am so tired of Joe and Tara, I couldn't even listen to him cry, or the stupid shit that comes out of her mouth. But at least tonight's elimination got rid of Randy & Greg, she was the source of all the drama. On the guys challenge, as buff as Jason is, you would think he would have won the firefighter challenge, but ended up one of the slowest.

Can I just ask that if you're going to mention eliminations, that you spoiler them... I catch up with this show online, and I keep getting the tension ruined by reading the thread! No biggie... just please spoiler them. Ta!

I would have yelled STFU at the beauties continually yelling 'help, save me' during the fire challenge.

I think the traditional rule is that if it's aired in the US, it doesn't need to be spoilerized. Therefore, entering a thread after something has aired in the US but before you've watched it is at your own risk.

For some reason, though, that doesn't apply to shows that have already aired in the UK but not in the US yet (Doctor Who, Torchwood, etc.), which need to remain spoilerized until BBC America broadcasts them

Thanks for clearing that up... Note to self: Don't click on thread until caught up.

So glad to see Randy off the show. So bloody obnoxious, I couldn't listen to a word she said, it went on and on. Horrendous.

Leticia is my favorite person on the show by far.

Also glad to see Randy go.

Another black woman (oh no, he just didn't say that, did he?) who thinks she is outspoken and speaks her mind, when in all reality it just shows a poor upbringing by her parent(s).

It's one thing to speak your mind, but to continually go on and on and discount everyone else's opinions, shows that you have no compassion or regards for other people's feelings.

Joe was 100% wrong in spitting at her, but his intentions to protect Tara were honest and I would have probably done the same thing. People like Randy need a reality check in the most painful way.

Chris

I found this posted on the cw message boards.

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...ogID=379679256

The myspace blog from Jonathan who lost out to Joe when the beauties and the geeks paired up, its a very good read, and from what it sounds like he really got screwed. The show really gave him a horrible edit, and he has every right to be upset about it. It looks like he cleaned up really well too.

Most of the beauties are real beyotches this season, it makes for rather unpleasant storylines.

It is nice to see that many of the cast members are sharing links for their myspace pages. Hell, even Mike Richards has one...

I fear that Jake from "Two and a Half Men" will look like Joe when he grows up.

From Jonathan's blog ...

.... I think that illustrates her true character or should I say lack thereof. I think she played both Jim and me and unfortunately took us both down with her. I think her actions showed she only cared about not getting eliminated and would do whatever she thought would help her get further in the game even if it meant backstabbing people.
Damn, he really lets loose on Tiffany!

After reading some of the blogs and posts by the contestants, namely Cowboy Joe, Jason and Matt...

SPOILER

Spoiler:
Neither Jason nor Joe win. Matt said he couldn't write about the show so I suspect he and Leticia win it or at least end up as one of the final couples.

END SPOILER

and yet you quoted it, so even if he fixes it it'll still be in your post...

Please, put those in proper spoiler tags, both of you.

So it's a recap show tonight with some new scenes? Is that correct?

That is correct. Now we've had a recap show and a non-elimination show, and they still felt the need to send Jonathan and Jillian home like they did. I think they have a right to be bitter.
