I didn't expect to get a second season, so I'm more than happy to get three.

Each season consists of new patients, so even if we did get a 4th season we wouldn't get more Sunil.

Looks like no season 4 of In Treatment.

I thought season 3 was a good end for the series anyway.

UPDATE: Deadline updated their story and now say that the show may continue in a new form, whatever that means.

It would be a damn shame if they cancelled In Treatment. It's one of the most intense and emotional shows on television. I've been in treatment and this show is very realistic.

Well, one new form would be following one story instead of multiple. I haven't watched the most recent season yet, so I don't know if they're doing that already, but previous seasons folllowed multiple stories / patients. They'd probably have to really gut costs to make the show financially viable. Has there been any really successful show about therapy? I'm not sure there's a wide audience for it. I'd think the younger crowd, in general, like things with more immediate payoff.
