I'm guessing he's "bad," and somehow The Others and the Losties that want to stay behind win whatever battle is coming, and these "bad" people can't find the island anymore.

That was pretty cool seeing it. I cant wait to find out where are they actually. Are they in another dimension or something or is the island hidden, cant be seen not there. Is that why the Heilcopter in tonights episode couldnt find anything until they adjusted the GPS.

The oceanic commercial dude not-so-clearly says "I can't trust these people.... the oceanic 815... I found it."
It looked to be submerged to me. Very odd.
So 6 of them somehow become the survivors... and the rest are history. Jack, Kate, Hurley... and I'd have to guess Sayid, Sawyer, and Locke. Even though Locke doesn't want to go - he didn't stop Jack from calling the ship so I think he'll end up suffering just like Jack, et al. I guess one of the 6 survivors had to be the one in the coffin though. Weird. Maybe it's Locke in the coffin since he couldn't bear being back in a wheelchair - and he had no family.
Anyone find any goodies yet in the privacy policy or the press release from the oceanic website?

For those wondering if tonights flash forward was before last seasons finale: Are you talking about the scene with Jack and Kate at the airport?
If so, then tonights was definately before that because he told Hurley that they would never go back, whereas in the other ep he is telling Kate that they have to.

Hope all y'all enjoy getting strung along for the next 47 episodes. The writers are going to scramble many viewers' brains over the course of these 3 years coming up.

I just watched the commercial from the website. Sonya, eh?? The web is even more tangled than we thought. An "other" on the plane, and even her partner doesn't know about it.

Ratings should be pretty high, as this was advertised well, the Season 3 finale was excellent, it's been long enough for people to catch up on DVD, and there's pretty much nothing else on.
I'll predict right around 19-21 million viewers.

Great episode. I'm thinking Sun would have to be one of the 6 to get off the island. She's knocked up, and knows she will die if she stays on the island. So, if she goes, Jin goes.

There's no way in hell it gets more than 12-13 millions viewers. People obviously don't care that much about scripted shows anymore.
Oh and what Oceanic commercials are you talking about? Was it an actual commercial that aired for real? I guess we didn't get it here in Canada.
And is it online yet?
