Not sure, but rest assured it would involve some sort of combination of my ashes and Veronica Mars' cleavage.

No way. They'd come up with 6 different conflicting theories on who did it, and never solve the case.

Monk, he'd solve the case and wouldn't hit on my widow.

And be replaced by two other agents late in the investigation.

BTW...this is a fun thread with some great answers. Nice question, OP!

I think a lot would depend on who'd killed me.

The most likely scenario for my death would be the assumption that I'm murdered by a mad ravening beast from some hell dimesion. So therefore Buffy would be the best investigator.

I suppose the next most likely scenario is that I'm killed by a weird mutant that escaped from the secret laboratory of a mad scientist, in which case I'd go for Kolchak to investigate.

Alternatively I could be murdered by some lunatic who's stalking online forums and killing anyone who posts there. In which case ........ arrrrgh he's got me, find my killer.

That would be clever if Kristen Bell actually had cleavage.

I'd vote for VM too but simply becuase I'd want my case to be a seasonal arc with 24 new episodes of cases peppered with her plucky, can-do attitude, witty banter and acerbic come-backs.

This guy:

OK, not really. Definitely Bobby Goren investigating, Jack McCoy prosecuting, and Ducky doing the autopsy.

Since I'm pretty sure my killer will be going around dressed as a yeti or a giant robot with a skull for a head...
