Ever have your local station broadcast shows in the wrong language?
The local Fox affiliate shows two episodes of The Simpsons from 6-7 pm, then Family Guy at 7, then Seinfeld at 7:30. The first episode of the Simpsons was fine, but the second was in Spanish! I'm thinking it's maybe a joke of the episode, and they would have subtitles, but nothing! I also thought someone would catch on, but the whole episode played out in Spanish. Now Family Guy is on, and it's in Spanish too! All the commercials are fine, so I'm like, what the hell?!?
I guess I'll wait to see what happens with Seinfeld. This ever happen to anyone else? |
They probably broadcast it in SAP and used Spanish as the alternate audio. Double check your settings on your TV menu with your remote.

Did that, first thing. It's fine.

Ok, this is messed up. I get two of each of the local networks through my Dish, one analog, one digital. I switched to the analog Fox, and it's in English! I switched back to digital, and it's still in Spanish. I checked the SAP on my satellite, and it's fine too.
EDIT: Seinfeld is on now, and it's in English on both analog and digital. Oh well. |
I've never had this happen to me.
On a side note... I've always thought it interesting the almost all the channels in LA broadcast SAP for Spanish, but as far as I can tell none of the Spanish stations have SAP for English. |
I turned on MTV once. I didn't understand a word of it.
