Watching now...
...and I am having mixed feelings about this.
On the one hand, this show has potential.
On the other, it almost seems that whoever is writing/creating the show just wrote down "cool things" from the 3 movies onto notecards, and randomly selected things from 'em to put into the show. All of the elements are there, but IMHO nothing is really new and the execution of a lot of this is as soulless as the terminators...
The show is trying though...

Agree with above poster.... I really wanted to hate this, but it wasn't bad.. It kind of feels like a high school play version of a movie.. the plot is the same and they are doing their own twist on it, but it just feels low budget and a little 'off'
i'll give it a few episodes

It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, and the dialogue didn't make me gag that much. So they go to 2007? Doesn't John have to be back in 2004 by the time T3 happens or is it not following that one?

Not bad, Better then I expected. Summer Glau looked great. Visual Effects were pretty good, Terminator machine looked great. I expected some better action scenes since this terminator ( but what can you do on a TV budget) .
them going to 2007 was pretty cool though. I will be watching tomorrow. Looked Great in HD too.

I recall the Producers made a statement that they are not going to be running from a new Terminator every week. But, I believe the Cromartie Terminator will still be around for future episodes.

I was entertained by it. Just had to suspend belief in a few scenes, but that wasnt too hard to do since there isnt much on these days, I'm just happy to have something new.

Well it didn't suck, so it exceeded my expectations.
After the first fifteen minutes, I was wondering, "Why do they keep using small arms against terminators? It barely slows them down. The only hope is to run away and eventually lure it into an industrial park where you can use the heavy machines to destroy it." But then they actually whipped out the heavy weapons.
Best moment -- the guy in a car snapping a photo of Summer Glau nekkid.

I wasn't expecting much, so it exceeded my expectations as well. It wasn't amazing, but it certainly wasn't bad.
I'll watch again tomorrow night.

Arnold should have been the Terminator...he was a much better shot than the model that was sent back!
I liked the shot of the "Rage Against The Machine" poster in the background when Sarah is talking to John in his bedroom in the opeining scenes. Nice touch by the production team.
I give it a solid "B" and I'll keep watching unless it gets too far-fetched or they start doing a chase of the week thing.

Some of these one liners are hilarious.

Being a fan of the Terminator movies, and anyone from Firefly, I couldn't hate this show.
Can 3 beings time jump in the same bubble though? If so, you'd think they's have sent back more Terminators at a time in the movies.

The actress playing the "good" Terminator was horrendous at first...but she became more tolerable as it went on.
Overall, not bad. I'll keep watching, though I hate when previous films are completely ignored (T3 is obviously out of the picture, as this appears to be more of a "direct sequel" to T2, with Dyson and Cyberdyne.)
