Well, the two people who connived their way to the end of season 1 called themselves a coalition, so it just stuck.
Richard Hatch called it an alliance, those two called it a coalition. You could say it's an homage to the pioneers of Mole play. |
One of the things that I've always liked about The Mole is how it says "executed" or "bribed" over the people in the opening credits. I wish more shows would do that.

The journal burning reminded me of the first season where they made the contestant's think they'd burned everybody's belongings, including somebody's bible. There was quite a bit of controversy over that, as I recall. |

I kinda had Victoria pegged as The Mole due to her calm demeanor. Oh well... |
4 episodes, 3 hot chicks out. no sense in watching anymore.
|
I was wrong.
|
I think the Mole is Mark. The producers probably picked someone who liked to take a lot of notes and told him that at some point they were going to burn the journals (including his) and that he should act like his wife died. And he did a pretty convincing job of it last night.
Or I could be 100% wrong, but it would be a pretty good 'mole' casting. Chris |
Fine
It's Alex. Enjoy! |
It's Kristen. Think about it -- there are seven people left. Kristen has seven letters in her name. Also, she is a BLONDE DAME. Rearrange those letters, and you'll get BANDED MOLE.

 Chris |
I'm hoping that ABC sticks with the remaining episodes, since it only got a little more than 4M viewers last night, that's right 4M.

I'll vote Clay as the mole. I was thinking it last week and was starting to doubt it this week because they showed so much of him and talked about him being the mole, but it looks like he's "acting" to me. None of his reactions seem genuine. Either that or he just has strange reactions to things.

I am still unsure as to who the Mole is... |

I was so certain that Victoria was the mole that I wasn't paying as much attention to the others. Now the show has gotten more interesting if only because we now have more debate over who the mole is.
|
I think the Mole is Craig, the lovable chubby guy.
1) He has the chubby thing so he has a built in excuse for performing bad on missions. No offense to chubby guys. 2) Last night's episode had Victoria saying that should be shocked if Craig was the mole. There's a reason they put those kind of lines in the show. 3) Their edit reveals that no one suspects him, which will be good for when he's finally revealed. To paraphrase Victoria, I will be SHOCKED if Craig is not the mole. |

Just want to put my $.02 in and say the Mole is Alex.

I picked out Mark as the mole a while back when he gave the sob story to the camera about working 2 jobs or whatever to make ends meet. This weeks episode just further pushed him as my mole from what I saw.
Mark is the Mole. |
Here's a clip from tonight's episode:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8tKbEfxhARs&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8tKbEfxhARs&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> That pretty much explains why they were singing the song in the preview at the end of last week's show. |
And out goes Kristin. Another mediocre episode imo. I miss the first season.
I'm debating between Mark and Craig. The real question is who was 1 second away from being gone? |
I thought the first challenge was good. The second was lame because the 6 had zero chance of actually making it in time, even if they tried. They wouldn't have been able to do 8-minute miles with no costumes. So basically, once the fat guy decided to go for the exemption, it was over, with the others having no chance to thwart him.
Paul is an ass. |
