Good episode but the ending was eh.

I just want Matty to drop dead. Him being influenced by someone new, after an incident, is OLD.

But still a great season. I was expecting something to happen at the end.

The visual of a kid sitting on Santa's lap and shooting him in the face and then the carolers singing "Frosty the Snowman" as they carried the guy out on the stretcher had me rotfl

How many episodes before Matt bangs the burned chick?

Help me out guys...what was the real reason the Dad got shot in the face? I know the Mom was gunning for him because of unpaid child support, but the son shot him and the Dad was the one who gave him the gun. And what was the kid forgiving the Dad for...never being around?

I want to know what Eden put into Julia's fruitcake -- whatever it was didn't seem to have much of an effect.

Me thinks she's slowly poisoning her.

Okay, I just have to say that i think the show is jumping the shark. Alien's in one episode, children poisoning their mothers lovers in the next... I wouldn't be surprised if Julia is pregnant by the midseason break and Matt really does gay porn.

The guy was a deadbeat who appeared to be making promises to his kid and then not keeping them. That's why the mom said he put the gun in his mouth and cocked the hammer.

Jumping the shark is what Nip / Tuck does best.

Matt doing gay porn? Pffh, that's nothing, I have this feeling that Rachel girl will drag him into some insane plot like this:

Rachel: OK, just step into that mosque.
Matt: this is crazy, Rachel, they're not all terrorists.

Exactly. Several times each season.

I believe somewhere around the time of the 3rd season, Julian McMahon addressed the whole "jumping the shark" thing in an interview. Basically, he said in their first episode they were tying hams to the dismembered parts of a Colombian drug lord they have just performed plastic surgery on so they can feed said parts to crocodiles in the Florida marshes. Therefore, any credibility of seriousness the show might have had is shot, and basically they "jumped the shark" the first episode. Or something like that.

Then later that season, Matt tries to perform self-circumcision to impress his cheerleader girlfriend who it turns out is a lesbian and sleeping with a fellow cheerleader, and [best of all] Christian trades Kimber for a car. So has anything this season really been that far fetched? If anything, the show's gotten back to its roots with the storylines, and that makes me very happy. :)

Another winner. Even though the dialogue wasn't anything hilarious, Kimber and Ram just crack me up anytime I see them. Maybe it's because his name is Ram.

So Matt is going to bang Richard Lynch's female doppelganger? Another inane twist in his plotline. I'm pretty sure quitting meth isn't as simple as getting burned and waking up in the hospital, then deciding to be a man. I think Matt would have to work a bit harder at sobriety than that.

So I guess the tub-shitter is gone for good?

i really hope so, i hated her character.

If I remember correctly, when it was picked up for the 5th, it was picked up through the 7th season.

There was a lot of talk when that happened as Ryan Murphy had previously stated he wasn't going to do more than 4. Apparently he changed his mind.
