If I'm not mistaken, wasn't "Big Shots" canceled and pulled from the airwaves?

Additionally I thought that the final episode of "Desperate Housewives" before the strike was being held over until they have a whole batch of new episodes?

Correct on both accounts.

Also, it's not accurate to say that Knight Rider is the series premiere. It's a MFTVM that could be used as a backdoor pilot, but nothing has been determined yet.

I think they are burning off the rest of Big Shots in January due to the strike. This info was from The Futon Critic. Then Eli Stone starts on 1/31 after Lost.

I had thought that was true about DH also, but Futon Critic had this new episode listed so I wondered if ABC changed their minds due to the strike still going on?

TV Guide also confirms that DH is returning January 6th.

Also futoncritic mentions that new episodes of Criminal Minds, NCIS and CSI:NY are being pulled this week. Most likely won't air until the new year.

Cane will air it's final produced episode (Episode 13) Tuesday (12/18) at 10pm. The show has not received a full season order yet.

The Unit will air it's final produced episode (Episode 11) also on Tuesday at 9pm.

Journeyman will air it's final produced episode (Episode 13) Wednesday at 10pm. The show did not receive a full season order.

NBC has moved Apprentice back to the original 1/3 date.

Yep. Forgot to add that one to the last update. I just added it.

Not so much returning as airing the one remaining produced episode they held back. Cherry preferred it not be aired in isolation, but hey, ABC needs ad revenue.

I'm kind of surprised they didn't just wait until February sweeps to air it.

If there is a Feb. sweeps to air this year.

Will they cancel sweeps due to the strike? I had no idea that was even a possibility? I thought that was a Nielsen thing.

Does it even matter whether there is an official sweeps cancellation. I can't imagine they would use such measurements this season to set commercial time pricing for next season.

If there is a new Cold Case Sunday, is Shark new Sunday?

I believe both have new episodes. Shark is the final produced episode.

I guess the "break" is good for Jeri Ryan as she's preggers (looks to be 6 months based on her recent magazine cover).

Without new episodes, the entire sweeps concept sort of flies out the window.

Yeah - I noticed that in the last few eps - they seemed to be hiding her a lot.

There will be enough new episodes (reality/game shows, midseason shows, other shows that have a couple eps left) that they'll still do sweeps.
