My DirecTV feed from Columbus, OH had a technical difficulties screen up for the first 15 minutes of this episode.

If you want the tune playing during the Homer life flashing youtube vid, it's by Carly Comando and free here:

I found some information here about that second youtube clip.

One person says:
"the music is Philip Glass; I heard the song first on the soundtrack for The Truman Show. But before that, from his "Koyaanisqatsi" movie/album."

Another said:
"The music makes this clip.
Checkout Carly Comando : Everyday

And from that carlycomando website, I found the Noah Kalina youtube clip that inspired the Simpson clip: http://www.youtube.com/swf/l.swf?video_id=6B26asyGKDo

It wasn't a perfect episode by any means, but I did like that they went out of the show's comfort zone with the story structure. They need to do that more often.

Creative, but terrible episode I thought.

What was the other video link shown at the end of the YouTube video, "Kitten Smokes on Toilet"?

I liked it for the fact that the storytelling structure was so different from most Simpsons episodes. Was it a classic? No because some of the jokes fell flat but this was a pretty decent episode that I bet will be funnier when I rewatch it.
