This was the exact thought I had... about Journeyman. For the record, I'm not a fan of any CSI either.

They can't cancel this! My wife likes it almost as much as I do, and she can't stand anythng that has sci-fi or time travel or "that type of nonsense". Please, NBC, keep this one show I can share with my wife that might lead her to try some good sci-fi! Please!

My signature is #484, not exactly setting the woods on fire. I really hope this show is able to keep alive. So very interesting at present.

I know the nuts campaign went really well for Jericho. Perhaps for Journeyman they should collect a bunch of signatures then send them back to September. That ought to impress them.

I think you're forgetting what made the "Jericho" campaign work. They didn't just sign some dinky petition.

I think that would be counterproductive. They had higher hopes for the show back then, and if they were to get a petition from the future that confirmed that the show wasn't doing well, they might just yank the show sooner. Remember, these things never turn out well.

i realize this alone cannot save the show if it is indeed doomed, but there have got to be those far more smarter than i who actually know what to do to help here. while DVDtalk is but a small corner in the whole internet thing, someone would know a better place for something like this

I like Journeyman, but its ratings are horrible. Nothing can save the show now.

I don't get it. They can't have that many episodes of Medium and Law & Order finished. How can they not find a 1 hour slot for the probably series finale?

This is the last time I start watching a new series when it begins....from now on i'll wait until the first season is completed before I give anything a chance

Best I could find in terms of internet support were a half-decent fansite: http://journeymanfansite.com/

And a Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6436930652&ref=mf

It's not much, but its a start, if the rumors are true.

The problem I have with that philosophy is that if you don't support the show now and just sit back and expect Nielsen box families to watch it for you, then shows like this will never survive and future shows like this will never get made. Granted I don't have a Nielsen box, but if I find a show that I enjoy, I am willing to give it my full support until the network/ratings says otherwise. I'm not going to let some fucking numbers decide what I want to watch.

There are 9 episodes of 22 for Medium that is completed now and I think 10 of 13 for Law and Order that's suppose to be ready. If the strike talks lead to a resolution next week, then expect more episodes to be in the can.

Signed the petition for all the good it will do. How ironic: I'm excited about the latest episode starting in 50 minutes and here I am in a discussion about the show's demise. This show is just starting to get good, NBC!!! The continuing story is what keeps it interesting.

Don't forget: Today is the day to download last week's Journeyman episode "Blowback" on iTunes and/or watch it at NBC.com!

The goal is to get it into the weekly top 10. It's $1.99 for the episode.

This is something that was started over at Television Without Pity and hopefully enough Jorneyman fans will do.

Here is probably the most comprehensive "Save Journeyman" site I could find (found in the same board as heavy liquid linked to)

Journeyman is my favorite new show so I've hated seeing it in this timeslot. In my opinion 10:00 equals certain death even if it is playing after Heroes. So that brings up the question what shows have started in a 10:00 timeslot and survived? I would think most people are off to bed around that time. I personally work the night shift and dvr everything so time doesn't matter to me. I don't watch any shows at their original time.

Hill Street Blues in 1981, followed by LA Law in 1986, followed by E.R. in 1994. But that was a different era, long before dvrs helped people go to bed at a decent time. I think people as a whole are going to bed earlier compared to 20 or 30 years ago.

I think we will see fewer shows in the future that will get many viewers in the 10 pm slot. I for one would love the West Coast primetime to start at 7 pm and be over by 10 pm, just like in the midwest.

Chris
