Another charming episode...I'm totally in love with Olive...loved the bit with Emmerson and the pavlovian response... I am going to miss this show when the strike takes it away from us.

I don't usually watch ABC shows, but after hearing all the good things about this one (and having the desire to see Kristin in HD), I decided to turn it on tonight. I have one question: does ABC always show this many goddamn commercials? Jeez!

P.S. Kristin getting naked during the opening credits...YES!

Could that opening death be more violent for an 8 p.m. EST show?

For a split second at the beginning I thought, "Holy cow--he touched her! They killed off Chuck!" But she wasn't dead and I knew then it had to be a dream. I wish I could have a dream about naked Olive. Ned's description to Emerson was funny. "She was wearing a Chuck suit."

I liked the psychiatrist wife analyzing "Ned" with "Mr. Digby."

Clever how they used the dead guy and Ned's power to smoke out the guilty wife. Speaking of, where do I know her from? She looks very familiar. So did the youngest wife, but I can't place her either.

I'm going to go try to dream of naked Olive now.

Actually, when he touched Chuck and she lived, the first thought I had was that my theory after episode one was turning out to be correct, and that it would be proven later in the season that he COULD touch her and nothing would happen because the rule was suspended for her after she saved his life.

In the opening scene when Chuck throws the covers back and swings her legs out, I swear there is a hint of beaver on the side. 10 minutes of frame by frame up close analysis on my HDTV proved inconclusive, but I don't think it was a shadow.

Oh, and good epiode.

Jessica Lundy (the first wife) has been in everything so no telling were you know her from.
Jenny Wade you probably know from 'Feast' - the Project Greenlight one

Everytime I see Mark Harelik, I think of his line from Election describing Reese Witherspoon's vajayjay.

I always see him as Milos, the terrible tennis player from Seinfeld, who tries to bribe Jerry by whoring out his wife so Jerry keeps silent about Milos' lack of skill with the racket.

Oh, and excellent episode. I really like how the writers make both Olive and Chuck desirable characters, instead of playing favorites.

This show is just so damn good!

One thing - couldn't Ned wear a latex glove to pet Digby? That poor dog!

For one, she was Joel's fiance in Northern Exposure.

I'm ready to let this show go. I've watched from the beginning and am getting nervous because they are painting themselves into a corner story-wise. It is just a matter of time before they have an episode where he transfers his powers to someone else, he finally gets to touch Chuck, then he is forced to reclaim his ability to help save someone or something.

You are ready to let it go because of something that might happen?

No, because of something that will happen. I've already written and watched the episode in my mind, so why wait around for it to broadcast?

This isn't Smallville; the writing is MUCH more intelligent than that.

I was JUST thinking the EXACT SAME THING (see tonight's episode synopsis for Smallville)!

So you wrote an imaginary episode in your head, which features a plot that to me sounds VERY unlikely to actually happen, and are stopping watching the real show because of that?

Maybe you should stop watching the imaginary show instead of the real show.
