F/X orders 2 more seasons of Damages (26 episodes total)
Great news for this show! But, it doesn't mean squat until the strike is resolved.
http://community.tvguide.com/blog-en...ages/800027110 I also think it's interesting the article mentions most of the main cast is contracted to do 6 seasons. |
Very surprised to hear this. Very happy but surprised.
My favorite show this year so  |
Damages was a good show that got very very interesting in the last episode, and clearly has a strong arc to go to in future seasons. Will be watching, though they really need to film the next season in HD.

Wow, that's really surprising. Last I heard, FX were unsure whether they wanted it back at all, since the ratings were pretty meh. To go from that to 2 more seasons is odd.

  One of the best shows I've ever seen! AWESOME (and yes, very unexpected) news!! |
For a show that got barely over 1M viewers on basic cable, this news is indeed surprising. I wonder how much it costs to produce in New York.

That's great news. It deserved another season even with the low ratings.

"Initial airings of the series averaged 2.5 million viewers, with 1.1 million of those falling into the coveted adults 18-49 demographic. The cumulative audience for multiple weekly broadcasts was 5.1 million viewers per episode and 2.5 million adults 18-49." |
Awesome news.

Kick-ass.

I just finished watching the first season on my DVR. I had all the episodes sitting there for the longest time, but once I started watching it I got through all 13 episodes pretty fast. Great show, and I'm thrilled that it's coming back.

Cool. I guess it will be some time before we see S2 though.
