Yeah, it really sucks that Lynette's Mom had to hear that crap! Sure, she may not have been the best Mom, but, that her children don't have an ounce of care. At least Lynette realized that she should do it. It may be too late, though.

Oh my God! Oh my God! I just got major chills after seeing the preview for the next episode! Wow!

Apparently the preview was not just for the next episode, which airs in two weeks, but a preview of what is coming up on Desperate Housewives. Next week it will not air, because of the AMA's.

From what I remember of the preview:

Spoiler:
It shows the newspaper headlines saying "Mayor is missing". Edie is talking on the phone to someone, and says, "I don't think he's missing. I think he's dead!" It shows the media following Gabrielle around, taking pictures, and asking questions. It shows Carlos at a window, and then it looks like he falls over dead. Then, the voiceover says, "The worst thing to ever hit Wisteria Lane". It then appears that a storm is brewing, and it shows a couple of the ladies running into a house. It looks like a tornado is headed towards Wisteria Lane. Then, it shows Lynette coming outside, and she looks across the street, and it appears that all of the houses have been destroyed, and she yells, "Noooooooooo!" Of course, as always, Felicity Huffman can do any emotion with great effect! That's what I can remember. I'm sure ABC.com will have the preview, if they don't already!

getting his pills back

since he dropped them in the sink--but he never turned the water on--they're still sitting right at the bottom of the U-pipe

Actually, that doesn't make any sense. A p-trap in an typical drain will still have standing water in it, even if the faucet hasn't been used for several hours. That's kind of the point of having them. They prevent potentially foul smells in the sewer system from coming up through the drain. And, of course, being a kitchen sink, I'm pretty sure there was also a garbage disposer in place, which would prevent the pills from reaching the p-trap in the first place.

Even putting those facts aside though, the average p-trap is most definitely NOT someplace I would want to retrieve something that I would be putting in my mouth. But I suspect that might have been the point of the scene. Addicts will go to extreme lengths (and often disregard personal health and safety) to satisfy their cravings.

I was laughing at Bree's line after the Bris. Something like, 'oh, btw, the baby's Hebrew name is Ezekiel.'
