Showtime has renewed the Lionsgate-produced comedy series "Weeds" for a fourth season, ordering 13 new episodes.
The half-hour series, starring Mary-Louise Parker as a pot-dealing widowed mother in the suburbs, is targeted to go into production in April, pending a lengthy WGA strike, for a summer debut.
"Weeds" is in the midst of its third season, for which Showtime had ordered an expanded 15 episodes for scheduling purposes. The series, which Lionsgate produces in association with Tilted Prods., was created and is executive produced by Jenji Kohan.

I agree. I thought this was a surprisingly good ep. Looking forward to seeing how everything shakes out.
Loved the exchange with the old man in the nursing home.
"Why are you reading the bible to me?"
"I read the bible to you every week."
"You do? This shit is ditchweed!"

Great episode! I had some catching up to do and this one was a nice capper. I love the new turn by Celia and the possibility of her buddying up with Heylia. I'm a little iffy on the bikers after going through all the U-Turn drama, but the rest of it was excellent.

Well, at least this episode got things a little bit back on track. I almost wish they had scrapped the last 3 or 4 episodes and got this storyline going sooner. Anyone else expecting another Mexican-standoff cliffhanger with the bikers and the Latinos a la S2's ending?

Speaking of season finales, the last shot of season one with Nancy organizing her crew and Lupita closing the patio doors while Shane looked on is probably my favorite moment in the whole series. Though, I guess that was pulled from The Godfather, so it's got good pedigree.
