What does the first parody has to do with "horror"?

Wouldn't it have made a lot more sense if this had aired last Sunday, October 28th?

Ouch. I've always gotten at least a few laughs out of the TOH episodes. They struck out big time this year, though.

I think this is the episode I enjoyed the most this season. Some pretty decent laughs.

The Treehouse of Horror episodes have aired in November for about 8 years.

Marge killing all the FOX pop-ups of other shows was the only funny thing about this whole episode.

Some good lines in each story. I think I liked the E.T. story the best. Average overall.

No doubt due to the fact that October airings don't help November sweeps numbers.

Pretty lackluster Treehouse this year, not many laughs and not the most exciting options for parody.

The best part was the end credits, where they listed 'The Dentist' and 'Health Care in this Country.'

The Mr. & Mrs. Smith parody was waaaay out of place. I thought the Halloween special was supposed to incorporate "scary" stories.

Our local Fox affiliate aired all of the Treehouse of Horror specials over the course of 3-4 weeks, and I TiVo'd them all - watching those in chronological order, it is sad to see this yearly special slowly (and then rapidly ) spiral down in quality.

I thought the se7en story was cute but I was really expecting them to do something like the actual movie - that probably would have been much cooler.

I thought the first 2 bits were great, but th elast one was really lame. They re-ran last years, which had me rolling- more so than it did last year.

I disagree. The only funny thing about this episode was Homer shooting the guy in the head and his blood filling up all the wine glasses.

I actually watched this episode at a friend's house last night and it reaffirmed why I stopped watching this show years ago.

Those Simpson writers, far too subtle...

I was hoping when Bart and Kodo? were bicycling towards the federal agents, that Kodo would change the guns into walkie talkies before they took off.

I enjoyed all 3 episodes.

I wanted to see more rooms of the "Heck House". Lot of good potential there. But they only gave us one.

Me too.

The last several TOH episodes have been hit or miss (mostly miss), but they are still fun to watch. I enjoyed the "24" parody episode much better last night.

Yeah, I thought that this would be the best one. Talk about wasted potential.
