LIFE -- "Powerless" -- 10/31/2007

Synopsis:
Spoiler:
While at an AA meeting Reese thinks she overheard someone admit to a rape. She finds herself in danger because she won't back down and keeps on investigating. Crews goes on a stakeout with Lt. Davis and learns some surprising information about his former partner Bobby Stark.

So in addition to moving Crews' search further, has Roman installed himself as a recurring character after last week? He would be a truly devious, twist-riddled character to have pop into the storyline every so often...

Really enjoyed tonight's episode. This is also my favorite new show this season.

Charlie and his Lieutenant on a stakeout - quietly funny. Charlie got some info out of her about Bobby's whereabout on the day of the $18 million heist.

Sarah Shahi got a chance to shine in the final part of the episode.

The subplot with Ted hunting down his ex-partner who wrote the book trashing him was somewhat interesting.

I hope this get's a full season to wrap up the frame up on Charlie since it probably won't get a second season.

Well who knows? Something will have to move aside come January when Medium returns. Unfortunately, ratings-wise it looks like this or Journeyman are likely to get axed which is sad because I like both shows alot. So the ex-partner didn't do it. Roman gave a misleading lead. Hmm...

I loved the part when Charlie asks the Lieutenant: "You're married???"

I don't remember seeing Sarah Shahi in any other shows but she's quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

I first noticed Shahi on the first season of Alias (she played Will's assistant), and if you want to see "more" of Shahi, hunt down "The L Word" (I think season 2 and/or 3).

This is certainly the highlight of my tv viewing after Dexter.

Loved when he stood up and said he was powerless, can't figure out where I know the bad guy from

IIRC, He was 'Dylan McCleen' in a recent ep of JOURNEYMAN.

Another solid episode.

One of the best new shows in a very weak network season, this one has been pretty solid all season.

Adam Arkin seems woefully underused.

Great episode and Shahi was definitely the star in this episode.

Even though this show still contains some of the overused Crime Drama clichés, it’s been well done and hasn’t bored me and isn’t tedious. They’ve balanced the “Case of the Week” with the “Personal Issues” very well I think.

The fruit bit at the beginning had me chuckling.
