Have they filmed more than 6 episodes of this yet (per IMDB)? My wife and I love this show and will be sad that there's only one more after tonight.

Well, it was strongly implied by Tripp that the twins are Dutch's kids. I'm still hoping that it is Brian, especially with the scene between him and Nick.

I really like this show a lot. I guess it's a guilty pleasure for me. Peter Krause and Donald Sutherland are both spectacular in this and the other members of the Darling family are good too. Here's hoping it gets picked up for a whole season.

I like this a lot, too, and it's one of the few shows I watch live. (My QAM tuner picks up ABC HD consistently; NBC is hit-or-miss.)

I must have a really bad memory because I didn't realize Seth Gabel (Jeremy) was the same actor on "Nip/Tuck" a couple of seasons ago.

I'm really liking the character of Brian Darling -- in the earlier ep when Nick was questioning the various members regarding the sex tape, the way that Brian said "How do you live with yourself?" was priceless.

I am really liking that the twins are actually becoming more human as opposed to how they were setup in the pilot. Hopefully it can last a little while and they don't screw up soon...

Sure, but then they wouldn't be Darlings. And really, how interesting would the show be if everyone got their act together? I predict they'll screw things up sooner rather than later.

Excellent episode. This episode showed that this series has a lot of depth to it. These characters are actually growing, and changing, despite their incredible wealth. I was very impressed with this episode, and the direction the show is going in. I think that tonights episode is hitting the stride, and I'm very excited about it!

Another great episode. I loved how the Twins strengthened their bond and how they both grew. Frankly, there wasn't enough Karen Darling in this ep....

I see what you're saying, but since the pilot both twins have gone from complete Paris Hilton knockoffs to quirky, yet somewhat wise adults. And I like that. They don't have to be dumb and screwed up to have that needed quirk.

ABC Wants More 'Dirty Sexy' Scripts

'Reaper' also gets order for extra teleplays

October 26, 2007

With a possible writers strike now less than a week away, networks are continuing to hedge their bets on their new shows.

The latest shows to get a little extra love, but not a full-season pickup, are ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money" and The CW's "Reaper." Both shows have received orders for six additional scripts, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Dirty Sexy Money," which stars Peter Krause as the lawyer for a super-rich New York family headed by Donald Sutherland, is averaging a shade under 10 million viewers a week thus far this season. It's also drawing a 3.6 rating among adults 18-49, finishing second in its timeslot (to CBS' "CSI: NY") in both measures.

The well-reviewed "Reaper," meanwhile, is bringing in about 3.25 million viewers and a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. It stars Bret Harrison ("The Loop") as a young man forced to work as a bounty hunter for the devil (Ray Wise).

Only a handful of shows -- ABC's "Private Practice" and "Pushing Daisies," CBS' "Big Bang Theory" and The CW's "Gossip Girl" -- have earned pickups for the full year (FOX has also ordered another season of its reality show "Kitchen Nightmares"). And on the flip side, networks skittish about not having much original programming in the event of a strike have only cancelled two series: "Nashville" (FOX) and "Viva Laughlin" (CBS).

Meanwhile, more than 10 series have now been given script orders, which give the networks a chance to see what's coming without having to pony up the cost for the production of full episodes.

Enjoyed last night's episode. It's a fast paced show, but it never feels crowded.

While there are several other new shows that I continue to watch and enjoy, this is the only one that has become a "must see" - terrific scripts and great cast!

I like this show, but not the twins. The last 2 episodes their parts on the show have been too big for my taste. I wish the show would give more time to the other Darlings.

Between the sense I'm getting that Pushing Daisies might just be a one trick pony and the way this show has been improving (other than a bit of a dip from the pilot to the second episode), this may end up being my favorite show of the year. We'll see.

Just did a four episode marathon, so now I am up to date. Loving the show. Love Karen, the twins, Nick's wife, etc. Even the minister's kid is great.

Nick's wife is yummy.

I'm enjoying the personal growth of the Darlings, but I suspect their growth all be littered with pitfalls, and not going to be an upward slope.

Agree with you Patman on Nick's wife. I think he got the better catch.
