Kynt and Vyxsin. With those spellings, I hate them already.

I had to read the description of the goths to figure out whether they were a lesbian team or not.

Wow, TWO lesbian teams. And a preponderance of females. Lots of estrogen in this year's group -- should make for a very catty season. Meow!

MArianna and Julia look like good eye candy for me personally - like brunettes

I was hoping that either Shana and Jennifer or Marianna and Julia were the lesbian team

Does wearing hot pink tiger print and going on sci-fi convention road trips qualify as "goth"?

Did some scheduling Wiz at CBS actually think a musical about a casino in Laughlin, Nevada was actually going to pull better ratings than The Amazing Race?

Hopefully this will be a good season and CBS will order another edition for next fall.

Do you all like that there is only 1 edition this season?

Defintely not!

if we can have two editions of Survivor, Top Chef, Dancing w/Stars, and the like.. we should be able to get two editions of A-Race per session.

Beggars can't be choosers though.

Happy it's back!

I'm getting a Flo & Zach vibe from Rachel & TK...which would be fine by me. Flo meltdowns make for good TV.

The nice thing about TAR is that the cast changes every 12 weeks, same as Survivor. Sure the format is the same, but we watch for the personalities, don't we?

I'd really love to see Dick & Daniele from Big Brother 8 on the next edition. Dick can easily start WW III in one of the countries he visits!

LOL - I'm glad I wasn't alone on this...

On a whim, I checked out "Goth subculture" on wikipedia and found "Goth fashion is stereotyped as a dark, sometimes morbid, eroticized fashion and style of dress...black period styled clothing;...Styles are often borrowed from the Elizabethan, Victorian or medieval period..."

I dunno...nothing about that hot pink tiger print strikes me as dark, morbid, or remotly erotic.

Everyone should realize that as each season goes by for these type of reality shows, TAR, Survivor & Big Brother, the producers are going to have to cast more weirdos to keep our attention.

I mean, who would have thought that a person as abusive as Dick Donato would have won BB8?

Not for me. I would much rather have bland, but good, competitors, which makes for a close and competitive race, than a bunch of obnoxious weirdos who are on there for no other reason than they stir up conflict.

Good observation. Glad the Race is back. I've watched since the very first episode. They just need more seasons on DVD. I never listen to commentaries on movies, but I love the commentaries on the TAR DVDs from the competitors.

I'm not complaining since they have some nice eye candy for this upcoming version of the AR.
