Weeds - "Cankles" - 10/22/07
 

Summary:

Nancy discovers who betrayed her and finds out she's being trailed. Some people lose their jobs. Silas discovers something about Tara. Shane installs a security system.

Watchable episode, but the series is suffering from too many plot threads going on at once.

Doug's stuff is still probably the highlight for me.

Doug, as always, is keeping this show afloat. This was yet another episode where a very real threat is presented to Nancy and : poof! : disappears within 30 min. Olsen also sucks, big time. As an actress and as a character on this show. She needs to be written out, which, if she becomes a problem for Nancy, would happen immediately.

Yeah, you have to figure that at this point, Nancy as a real person would not be in fear of anything with how easily half a dozen life threatening scenarios have been magically resolved. It's almost comical at this point, they're going to have to do something nutsy to have a suspenseful finale with all the crap that's gone on (or not) this year.

Olsen isn't on screen long enough for me to notice any acting deficiencies, to be honest.

It looks like they might end up going with Celia as being the big threat as we head towards the finale.
