Life - 10/17/07
Just watched all 3 of these last night, wish I would've watched them sooner! Good show, and Damian Lewis is easy to like.
I'm actually keeping up with more new shows than ever, most all of these new 1 hour dramas are pretty good (Journeyman, Pushing Daisies, Life, Cane, Bionic Woman). At least IMO.

Finally someone starts a Life thread BEFORE it airs (I've been starting them after they air because it's been a slow build for people to catch on to this show, but it's one of the more interesting new shows to me from the get-go).

Didn't realize until 15 minutes in the episode that the homeless guy is played by William Sanderson, who is best known as Larry on "Newhart" - "I'm Larry, this is my brother Darrell, this is my other brother Darrel."

That was a great dual interrogation scene. Reminded me of the good ol' days of Homicide in the box. Very good directing and editing in that scene.

This show really works well as a straight cop drama. I like the added mystery of the Crews backstory which you really have to pay attention to and follow each week as they plop in new pieces of info. I'm not sure how long a mainstream audience will stick with that part of it though.
History says that this kind of intelligent program will not live long.

Much better than last week's episode. I liked the overall story and thought the ending was great. I hope this show sticks around...maybe if more people catch up online....

I am really enjoying this show as well and hope it does not get lost. This reminds me of John Doe (with better acting) where we will see a major plot point at the end of the season as to who is framing Crews and then no more series. Seems like most of my shows have been doing this to me but it seems like there is interest in this one. I hope I hope I hope

Good episode and I’m enjoying Roger Aaron Brown's (The District) parts.
