I am still tuning in for this, but every new character they've added this year has sucked ass. I'm really watching for Hiro, Peter, and Sylar now more than anything else.

I felt this episode was better than the last three, but it still was not great. I don't understand why they are adding even more characters when they can't even give proper screen time and development to their existing characters.
- I really like nightmare man being Matt's father. In fact, I think it may be my favorite storyline this season. - Monica's power reminds me too much of the waitress that Hiro met last season that remembered everything that she read. I also can't stand her little brother. - Claire's storyline just needs to stop. Seriously. The only good thing about her is that we get to see HRG. Also, I don't know how much more of West I can take. I'm embarrassed for watching the show every time he comes on. - Sylar was great this episode, but the Wonder Twins are still driving me nuts. I hope he eats their brains next week. |

Last season the show was unpredictable. This season it is predictable. They sure did explain Matt's wife lamely. Oh, she had an affair and it is not his kid. Whatever. The New Orleans girls powers are dumb. |
I couldn't get into this episode. The fake southern accents were just too much, then they didn't even alter the dialect, ended up annoying me.
The whole Micah plot seems drawn out and pointless and extremely overacted. The Parkman, Mohinder, and Petrelli plot was pretty good... I'm starting to see the point behind the Claire, Bennett, and Flyingboy plot, it's getting more complex with Bennet worrying about his safety. The love story and the burger bonanza manager drama were super cheesy. I guess the ticking sound alluded to Sylar regaining his ability to steal powers... Did anyone notice the giant cockroach near the dead dude? Wasn't that in the season finale too? |

Did anyone notice the symbol in Molly's eyes? I thought that was kinda cool but I don't know what it was supposed to mean.
|
No Peter or Hiro this week? WTF?
|
Sylar heard the sound last week also... I don't think it helped him. I also think that is why he called himself Gabriele instrad of Sylar.

Spoiler:

Why does Nathan see the ugly reflection in the mirror. Did they explain this and I totally missed it?
|
Can someone help me understand the blundertwins powers? They never show what they can do. I know they are dangerous somehow, because they are Wanted, but why must the two of them travel together?
I really love these new characters, but the plot with them is just moving too fast for me to understand. |
Your dry wit and sarcasm will not be understood by all.

I think that, because of the looming writer's strike, Tim Kring took one episode and stretched it out over an entire season. This moving so slowly...

Micah's cousin's powers remind me more of Echo from David Mack's run on Daredevil than Taskmaster.
If I remember correctly, Taskmaster can only learn moves that have been used against him. He can't use a Captain America move unless he actually fights Cap. With Echo though, all she had to do was watch something on TV, and she could do it. There's even a sequence where she rents a ton of martial arts movies to learn all the moves. |
Maybe this is something that's already well known but I noticed that Sylar's watch brand is "Sylar". So I guess this is where he gets his name.
Also, last season his watch was stuck at 7 minutes to midnight, the time that he killed Chandra and broke his watch. Anyone notice if the time had changed last night? I know it was before midnight but I didn't notice the exact time. |
