The shocking thing is that my wife called the "romance" angle before they even locked them in solitary. I looked at her like she was crazy. I apparently was wrong to doubt her gaydar 
I want to reiterate how glad I am they are sticking with this prison thing. The list, while a great plot device, was getting a little old. It's nice to see a show change up the setting as drastically as "Earl" has, while still delivering on what made the show work well to begin with: Earl making up for his bad deeds.
It's actually making me look forward to the show again, and that's a great thing.

I just watched the show and I liked it.
I thought it was going to be really hard for Earl to continue working on his list why being in jail.
It seems this season is going to be Prison Break a la Earl

Pretty good episode. This is one of the few shows that has changed gears this season and made it work. I hope U-Turn pops up in a few more episodes, but I doubt it. It's just not the same if he's not allowed to swear. Nelson was great as the warden.
