Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Lefty Call, 9/30/07

Another very solid episode. Leon is a great addition to the cast. Larry goes after a chemo patient; Larry accidentally hits on Cha-Cha; the tempermental waiter--all great stuff.

Leon is the best addition to Curb ever. At this rate, he might make this the best season so far, which is quite the accomplishment after last season's trainwreck.

This episode wasn't as good as the last couple. Too much going on.

Agreed that Leon is hilarious.

It didn't really seem like he was hitting on Cha Cha. The way he was moaning I thought she was going to claim he was pleasuring himself to her.

"Lefty Call" for me too.

Absolutely love Leon. His "get in that ass" dialogue was hilarious.

Unless I'm reading too much into it, the barber scene was a nice homage to Silence of the Lambs. The actor that played the barber also played the cop in SOTL that Hannibal beat to death in the cage. The scene where he was beating Larry with the towel was in pretty much the same manner as Hannibal swinging the baton as he was smashing the cop.

Overall, a pretty good episode. Cha-Cha was pretty hot in her workout gear!

Regarding the lefty call, I always do that, and thought most people did.

Open up the ass Larry. Step in there and spray paint "Larry Was Here".

Sorry--I didn't mean it literally, since the point of the scene was that he was talking that way because he was using his left ear and she just THOUGHT he was hitting on her.

Excellent catch, andicus~

Now I'm curious: Anyone else have DirecTV and have the info say "The Bathroom Monitor"?

Reading these threads I seem to be in the minority, thinking that the season is funny and all, but just not up par with previous seasons...until last night. This is the first episode this season that had me laughing hard all the way through it.

Loved the dig at his wife's environmentalism.

Yes, I see that the HBO website called it that so I assume that is correct. I get it. However, my DirecTV info. guide called it The Bathroom Monitor. As I asked, anyone else happen to notice this? Not that interesting really--just wondering.

I'm with you, man. I do think this episode felt more like a true curb episode than any other this season, I actually laughed several times.

I thought this was was TOP 20 material. The best of the season so far. Damn, Larry must have really been offended by the reviews last season because he is just bringing it.

looks like they're gonna be around all season. Leon is part of the family. He's the only funny one of the family in my opinion
