Doctor Malcolm Reynolds just doesn't sound right.

But at least Nathan is working.

My wife thinks she isn't really the new neighbor's daughter, but a kidnap victim.

My wife said the same thing. Apparently not true though by the ending.

I just can't get used to seeing Nathan Fillion on a show like this.

sounds like a memory wipe over a kidnap victim by the ending of the show IMO.

Never mind. I found her.

Lyndsy Fonseca. She was on Heroes last week, but I can't remember as who.

She was also one of House's patients:

A- This was an excellent laugh-filled opener. Enjoyed Bree's and Susan's storylines, especially at Katherine's party. Nice setup for the four principal characters.

I missed "Desperate Housewives"!!!

I stuck by in durring the second season, but the beginning of the third season just rubbed me the wrong way and I finally gave up. But my sister insisted I give it one more shot and I watched the DVDs over the last week - and I'm glad I did, the show is as good as ever, especially with this episode! I can't wait for more with bree

Who is the father of Susan's baby, the plumber or the English guy?

As good as ever, great season premier, let's hope it keeps up this steam, I love the new conflict between Susan's old friend and her real friends. Interesting to see what comes of the latest mystery... I'll put my money on a pedophile father, and a mother who murdered said pedophile. But that seems too easy for this show.

I called it at the candy incident. The ending made it pretty clear that she's not.

I thought it was kind of funny, when Lynnette had the wig on she looked more like her Transamerica character.
